Good work! It would be great to have some effect when we hit the enemy to know that we are actually hitting. And of course a health bar would be good too. Good work btw
htx. there is no healthbar system but instead, when the time slows down too much, u die with the netire world, im making a tutorial to clariy all this, it should be released in 2 weeks
The game is unpolished, it's to ambitious for your own good. I would suggest to limit your scope make a simple 2d game but with a solid gameplay loop.
im currently wrking on a full release to make a tutorial and polish, and fix bugs. it should release in 2 weeks
it is really nice game and i love the visual, but if you could add some health bar and score it would be really fun game. Nice work :)
will do all this after the jam, im fixing bugs and making a tutorial and polishing, a full release is coming in the next 2 weeks
Well done on finishing your game! I really like the unique take on the theme with the slowing down mechanic.
A couple areas it could be improved upon is by having a tutorial and by maybe making the goal clear in the level. I found that I didn't really know what I should be doing. Also there were a few bugs but I'm sure that could easily be fixed with a little more time.
Although I like the overall vision, I think that the scope of this project was a little too big for a week so maybe in the next game jam project you partake in, try to go for something a little smaller or simpler.
I hope I wasn't too critical there. I just hope that it will help with the next project. Keep up the good work!
no bro u wasnt critical, but instructive. im working on a full release wich should be released in the next few 2 weeks
Nice game and visuals; I like the slowing down mechanic, its a nice interpretation of the game jam theme. Sure it still needs a lot of polish but you have to start somewhere! Nice work, keep on it!
thx for ur support

I'm sorry bro, I'd love to test the game, but I'm a Linux user
thats sad. No problem thx anyway
working on a full release u should get in 2 weeks, i will probably make for mac and linux but i wnt be able to test, so tell me
nice game, but tutorial would help a lot, and also the bug mentioned in the comments should be fixed, but this game is nice overall
thx

First, it's awesome you made a game with little time.
Sadly, critique has to be honest and that is nothing you get from most people. So, I keep it as simple as possible:
Focus on one mechanic.
What I mean with that is that you do just one mechanic and focus on it. As example: Flipping a picture left/right up/down. No fancy movement, no specific shooting mechanics but just flipping a picture. You program your code and focus on exactly that so it is as good as you can do it, refine it and build a small game around it. It doesn't have to look good.
Don't invest in tons of assets and such. Just take a random royal free picture and flip it. Like... let a tree aling with other trees that pop up and give a player less and less seconds to do so. Like at the beginning you have 2 seconds and take away 0,01 seconds reaction time every time a player gets a position right.
Align that one mechanic with the theme of an gameJam and make it as clean as possible. One of the best games I ever played were so hillariously simple that you have to wonder how those people had made money with it.
Creating something with so many aspects to do is for most too hard and instead having one refined mechanic you have loads of them half-rearEnded.
Never stop programming and keep on doing. Learn through tutorials, through help of others and keep on doing gameJams! But always remember: You can start to add mechanics together when you know them at least to a point where you feel comfortable programming them.
Stay crunchy.
thx a lot for ur valuable feedback. i dont really like simple games, i like war games and complexity. the mechanics are good in this game, its just that there are so many bugs, or annoying details that need to be fixed after the jam. but simple games are also great, its just that i love war games and violence. anyway thx a lot for ur feedback, and support, it really means a lot!
Complexity can come with experience. If you want all and as much as you can you will grow frustrated to a very high probability. But at the end, it's just critique and you have to decide what to do with it.
Never give up programming!
Stay crunchy.
im not saying im starting complex, im starting simple, but making complex games is my goal

Great work on the visuals and sound effects! There were a couple of small things that I noticed - I got stuck quite a lot between rocks and trees etc (but maybe that just adds to difficulty!) and when I died and restarted I then died immediately instead of restarting the level (might just need to reload the same level in Unity to clear some cached data). Overall it was good fun though and amazing how big of an environment you did for such a short time, nice one!
the problem when restarting is : i put in code that whenever the time is too slow, u die, when restarting, the time scale is still very low, to fix it i needed to put the time scale = 1 when u restart, its a coding mistake. OOPSIEEEE

cool prototype, i liked the slow-motion effect. however, my cursor was showing during gameplay so turning was odd. Nonetheless this is great for only 1 week
thx

It would be good to add a tutorial because I didn't know what I was supposed to do, nevertheless good visuals
will do next time. Thx

I landed and got stuck in a bunch of trees so it was hard to tell what was going on. Some feedback on if you hit the enemies would be nice. Could be a simple stun and knockback. I could not tell if the blood was mine or theirs.
thx for ur feedback. i already noticed these angering details, but i didnt manage to fix them all before the deadline, there were a lot more than these. at least i hope u enjoyed the game. ill check ur game as well
Yes, it was cool! I have tried to play around with the models you used before without any success so good to see someone knows how to use them haha.
i actually deleted all scripts after importing cuz they just gave me errors, and i couldnt animate myself, the package doesnt let me, i needed to use the animation that comes with the package so its a miracle i made a game with this package lol.

The visuals were really cool! I couldn't really tell when I killed someone or if I was even hitting them! Fun concept though!
Nice!
thx

i had no idea what's going on , a tutorial would be great to explain things as others have mentioned , also another bug where the game suddenly slowed down extermly even if i restart it doesnt go back to its normal state
did u read the description before playing?? its extremely important to read it. i didnt have time for a tutorial
true that game was huge , nope i didn't read it that was my fault
no problem :)

that would be great really , i think ill work on my main game (my first one) in the meanwhile and just fix the bugs in this jam one
the animations are nice and a bit lack of tutorials nice game
i didnt really have time, but thx for playing. really means a lot

Liked the visual. I found the bug mentioned in the comments too. overall, a nice game
thx

The game is straightforward and the animations were really good, however i found that there is a bug in the game, like not being able to play again after failing once(yeah someone mentioned this) and the lack of the ingame tutorial, but otherwise its great, and also the blood particles were a nice touch.
yes. thx a lot for ur feedback but again the animations are from the asset store and i mentioned this in the credits. thx for playing and rating

Hey, I really love the animations and the art looks really cool. The blood particles also work quite well! However, I found a bug, when you fail the game and try to retry, it automatically fails you. I still think that it is really cool and the models are really good!
yeah thx bro. but the models are from the asset store. i didnt have my new computer to make models, so i used my old one, that doesnt support 3d modeling. i credited the asset store publishers in the credits notepad
thx for the bug report. i didnt play test so this is probably my lesson. plz follow me i really need more people to play my 2 first games, cuz i need motivation
anyway thx for playing
Sure, any feedback on my game would be appreciated!
send me a link
