There's most of a viable game here. Visible HP bars, and less HP on the non-boss enemies/bullets, could add a lot.

The door to the third boss is particularly glitchy: I got stuck inside it and couldn't move one time, and another time the boss moved offscreen through the door and never came back.

thanks for the feedback! I really appreciate it. And that's interesting... I'm not sure I ever encountered either of those before but I can see why that would happen, thinking about it.

Sorry it was a bit buggy. And yeah, health bars would have been a good idea.  😅

I think this game is good, the gameplay was smooth and graphics are great but the bosses take too long to kill.

thanks for the feedback! I'm glad you found it good and liked the gameplay and graphics. And fair enough... Some of the bosses were quite tanky, and I could see why they are too long. And especially with some of the bosses not having a lot of variety to them might make them drag out a bit too long.

Thanks, I appreciate you playing it!

The gameplay is remarkably good, and I do love the one bit art style. My only complaint is that the bosses felt a little tanky, but it was a joy to play!

thanks a lot! I really appreciate the feedback. And yeah, maybe they were a bit too tanky.

I maybe wish I had added a second attack that was maybe more of a high risk high reward deal to make them slightly quicker if you are skilled or something.

But thanks! And I'm glad you enjoyed it :D

finished it! moody little platformer. i would've liked to see boss HP, but no other complaints here. i appreciated how each boss has a different music theme!

Managed to finish it and had a blast! Died a couple times but just had to keep coming back and finally beating those bosses (especially the Apprentice Mage) was just so satisfying.

I really appreciated the super smooth character movement and rapid-fire shooting mechanic (after getting the hang of it a bit). All of the bosses designs were engaging, looked great in your graphical style and creative and I'd love to learn more about the lore behind them (especially the last boss, with that slow, sad death sequence, very cool!).

Absolutely loved the ascetic! Each boss felt different from one another and it was a lot of fun fighting each one. I especially liked the last boss, it felt really intense :D

Very fun game! The movement is smooth and the combat is impactful.  The minimalist style works great with the bullet-hell kinda gameplay. That apprentice mage was a doozy but it was so fun

The idea is nice, I enjoy to shoot to the bosses , it would be nice to see how much energy they still have. The first boos took ages to kill and the second one I couldn't kill him.
