Good job! Will come and play it more thoroughly, trying to get through a basic test run and at least give it a try! Trying to get to everyone I can!

After re-rate gave it 3.75/5 Great job and best of luck!

Hey there, I am trying to get other to re-submit their reviews for my game if possible...it was deleted and removed from the Jam on accident based on a technicality which was solved between the Jam Host and a particular asset used in the game...please if you have time, energy, and/or generosity to re-saved your ratings/reviews for the game. I am going through and re-saving yours given my browser kept your rating saved data on my end...but it looks like I lost all 73 reviews and ratings from my end....  :( best of luck to you in the Jam

Sorry for the inconvenience if you have a chance to rate/re-rate

Liked the first boss and the design of the second, really not into the bullethell genre, but it was quite fun!

The final boss is a little too much with that healing every phase, but I guess it it what it is on purpose, but that mechanic is really hurting the feeling of progression, when he just goes back up again and again.

Cool game, great job!

Impressively unique attack patterns and creepy boss designs! I would love a dash movement, or a slightly smaller player hitbox. And the visual design could still use some polish. But overall, this is a really great start!

Thx, about the dash, there are actually a dash movement in the game already started from the second boss, if you are interested you can watch the gameplay video on the game page for the full fight.

super fun game! i really like how the exchange mechanic was implemented, and the game feels pretty good to play, sometimes the hitboxes felt too big, but that might just be a skill issue

i love all the concepts for the bosses! all their attack patterns felt really good to dodge, but probably with the exception of the rotating lightning thing, that just kind of feels unfair and spawns on top of you. i really like all the surprises in the final boss, it kind of got ruined by the bug that froze the third boss, but other than that, beating the final boss without the soul exchange felt super satisfying, great game!

Developer

Wow didn't expected someone to actually tried the secret ending route in this version, congrats! And ya that lightning attack is going to change a bit in the post jam update, along with some buff on the healing so it would be easier to beat the game.

Amazing game! The bosses were incredibly well designed, with each one being unique, yet still overall consistent and fair. I appreciate that you kept the graphics very simple, it really allowed your bosses and their attacks to shine. I do feel the take on the theme could've been a bit more inventive, but that's the only minor complain I could muster.
