The Whispering Spire's itch.io pageGame's Take on the Theme
The game's narrative and gameplay takes place inside of a constantly spinning tower. The spinning theme ties into the lore of the game.
Did your team make the majority of the art and music during the jam?
Solo developer. Used generative ai for voice acting only. Rest of the asset made by me.

I like the pixel art style and the story telling but the implementation of the βspinβ theme is lacking. only focused on the lore of the game. Overall good job
These little text interludes, like in the good old NES video games. Everything that reminds me of that is great for me!
Rated! ;)
Thank you, if you check out and rate mine as well!
All the best! ;)
Really like that art style/graphics you have going on in your game! All the characters feel awesome and the writing in nice! Really well done game!
(PS: If you're willing to I'd love it if you can rate and leave some feedback on my game! This is my first ever jam and I'd love to see where I can improve for the future!)
pixel art style is great.
Minimalistic and very stylish pixel art, i like it a lot, also the gameplay fels right and all merges well, I like what you did here, I rate graphics on top but all is cool, also if you have time please rate my game, thanks!!
The storytelling and writing are superb throughout the experience, really well done on that! In terms of gameplay, it reminded me of very old games that were simple but did the job. I enjoyed the time spent playing, and I even finished it!
Thanks, really glad that you liked the story. I knew I was right to spend so much time in writing the dialog and using tools for the voice acting.
Honestly, I think could've made the gameplay much more engaging if I had more time and experience in making games.
Also, what did you think of the ending? Was it too vague? A lot of people didn't really get what I was going for.
I liked the animations and the design of the dialog boxes!!
Thanks a lot
The character design is all pretty good, and I liked the dialogue. A small nitpick I had was that the text appeared slower than the voicing did, so you'd usually have to wait for it to appear even though you'd already heard what he said. Beyond that, the bosses were a bit simple, but I had fun with it. Also seeing that you only had 2 weeks instead of the full month makes it much more understandable. I'm not sure how I felt about the message, but it was something interesting to think about. Good job!
Hey, thanks for the feedback.
