Fun simple game! I really liked the gameplay against the boss from the cover where you teleport between the platforms!
simple and fun game!
Its really funny game, I like the minimalistic visuals, I would advice to make play area bigger scaling everything up a bit, the mechanics are fun and works great. I rate graphics, fun, control, and music the most, but all is great really, also, if you have some time, please, rate my game too, thanks!!
I really liked the controls, simple but effective. I either couldn't figure out the timing on the block, or it didn't work. This game would have really benefitted from some boss themes and a little lore, but I understand that you didn't have time to polish it. Either way, good job, and keep up the good work.
Nice art. I think this is the first game I've player that came from GDevelop. I tried that game engine a couple years ago but for briefly.
Pretty simple but fun, good job!
Love the graphics! very minimal yet effective! Wish you had more time to work on this! I'd love to see it into a more polished game! The game also doesn't like Fullscreen mode on wider monitors :(
(PS: If you're willing to I'd love it if you can rate and leave some feedback on my game! This is my first ever jam and I'd love to see where I can improve for the future!)
I really really really like your pixel art, it's very clean and the minimalism suits action games like this very well
I liked the art a lot. The bosses are well made too. Great Job. I had a lot of fun playing your game.
Love the art. The concept of the bosses are quite unique, though when distilled down to the gameplay boss 1 and 2 are almost the same.
Gameplay wise... um... I think it is awkward how the bosses can only be attacked when they are directly horizontal to the side, I personally feel it would be nicer if say there is a way to shoot upward or downward Metal Slug style.
Good work!
A little simple but I'd guess you're earlier on in your journey and by yourself no less. It's quite fun, the movement is pretty dialed in for gravity and friction, I wasn't annoyed by the controls at all, though I'd prefer to use mouse and wasd than arrow keys, if you're on game maker ord("ABC") is your friend .
I like the shooting and the sounds were pretty decent for what they were used for. The pixel art is charming, simple but solid. I like the boss designs, of course they spin but I like the layering of the last boss and the fade outs between phases is pretty nice. The attacks of using the wheel to teleport are thematic and raise the skill ceiling a lot which is nice.
The game isn't punishing at all, I got hit a bunch of times (because I suck lol) and I only went down to like 40% which is probably okay for a jam.
Well composed but a little barebones. It was fun!
Cool interpretation of the theme. I liked how unique all the bosses felt too.
I'd suggest moving to WASD to move, Left Click/Right Click to attack/deflect.
Well done for submitting despite the irregular powercuts!
Great use of the theme!
Fun game! It would be nice to be able to shoot in more directions. Happy to see you managed to finish all three bosses!
I had more fun than I expected! Very simple and straightforward controls. The game may be unfinished, but the mechanics are already well designed and I'm sure with more polish, this game will come out wonderfully! Well done!
Very fluid and well done for putting something together during difficult circumstances! I'd be hyped to see what you put out under ideal conditions.
Wow, I was pleasantly surprised that falling didn’t kill me but teleported me back from above. And it was super generous to give a full heal—I really appreciated that and managed to complete the game. The game is pretty cool!
I was a bit confused by the controls at first, but once I got the hang of them, it was a lot of fun!
Hey what a neat game you got there with unique spin mechanics! I was able to beat it, nice work making a playable game! Congrats on submission, and good luck!
I rated and reviewed in hopes that you will return the favor of your rate submission of my game below! I'm helping low rated games by rating them!
Yes I did.
boss's were well done. being able to shoot where my mouse is pointing or something akin to that would be awesome. I like the little dude and after a little polish this game can be great!
