Game's Take on the Theme
The one surrounded by spining floating swords, theres boss who had spin ability too

Did your team make the majority of the art and music during the jam?
yeah, music and pixel art, but not for sfx and some icons

If not, please link to any asset packs or resources used here.

ANThe game is fun, has interesting mechanics and a good art style. l OrThe only thing I have to ask is: What is this?

I saw a cinematic that focused on it later after beating a boss, but I never stopped seeing it white XD

Developer

lol... is that can happen

Cool, I really liked the floating swords, reminds me of Vergil's summoned swords! The attack feedbacks are very good, and getting new swords is awesome too! But currently the player will died even the boss is just defeated, I think maybe it will be better if player will become invulnerable when the boss is defeated. Overall it's really fun and challenging!

Nice game! The art is nice and the gameplay is great! I didn't fully understand the circle in the middle though, and losing a heart after each death is really tough lol

I like a lot the mechanics, the story is good and graphics are nice, I would advice to add some more light or contrast with our character but it may be something personal from me. I rate graphics, fun and control on top, but all is great really, also, if you have some time, please, rate my game too, thanks!!!

Well made game that is fun to play, but quite tough! I really like the mechanics the game has. For combat, I would prefer a little more movement speed and the dash seemed too short, but that is just my preference. The spin platform in the middle was a little confusing ngl. Little more 'tutorial' for how the main gameplay loop works would have been nice. But very good overall, I had fun playing!

Really love the visuals for this game! it makes it look nice while also being quite fun! The combat feels nice as well, Really well made game!

(PS: If you're willing to I'd love it if you can rate and leave some feedback on my game! This is my first ever jam and I'd love to see where I can improve for the future!)

The visuals, sounds, and overall gameplay are AWESOME, however, there are a few things I don't quite understand and aren't explained, such as the circle in the middle of the room. I also like how each boss has their own backstory, and I really like the "lifesteal" system.

Overall, a REALLY great game, good job!

The spinning swords and throwing them felt really satisfying, the sound, the weight with the force and speed, everything was excellent. The game is really fun, great job!

Pretty fun, not very hard game but still challenging enough. Love the spinning swords and being able to throw them, it allows me to have some defense in close quarters but also not be useless at range. Combat is very solid, it's quick, nice attacks from the bosses and it's very responsive.

I love roguelikes and I love the upgrade system and how each run is different enough from the previous so that I don't face the same boss in the same order everytime.

good and tasty game! if u want to be in my team, u can message me heare https://yapori-games.itch.io/

So I really like the visuals, the music and the gameplay. The story part is a little too much but the Boss fights are fun and engaging and also quite hard. The bosses by themselves look quite cool and have a nice set of attacking patterns.

The spinning swords and attacking with them is fun and feels snappy. The dodge is also quite well and feels just right.

I was a little confused at the beginning as to what I should do and that I have to interact with the crystals to start a fight wasn’t that obvious to me. Also the thing in the middle didn’t do anything at the beginning but after a boss fight I got a crystal and could upgrade my weapon which was a nice surprise.

So overall it feels quite nice and you could expand on. Like adding more content in between, maybe extending it to be a roguelike/lite of some sorts.

Job well done!

Fun bossfights. After dying the first time I couldn't re-enter the bossfight though, the door stayed locked for some reason.

I really liked the application of the “spin” theme. Extremely fun game. Congratulations on the game!

I found it a little difficult to identify some of the plant bosses' attacks, but apart from that, it was an incredible game.

The game is AMAZING, the graphics and the animations are really great. There tones of little animations which make the feeling of the game awesome. I was in the fight throwing swords, dashing! I like the little story and dialog to introduce game mechanics. You did an excellent jod !

Fun time with smooth controls! A little buggy and a little unbalanced, but overall had a good time. Great job!

Super fluid game, I really liked it

What a great game!

Despite some very minor issues (like the music track not matching the situation, or the shield animation confusingly stuck on top of the flower) I had an amazing time playing up to phase 4. It was very fun to get power-ups and new swords.

However, after that the pacing goes down, as the bosses progress quicker than me, requiring more and more time (despite me having 7 rarest swords). Phase 7 onwards turns the game into a clicker, where I would appreciate having some sort of auto-attack (especially considering that it is impossible to have any downtime with that many swords).

But the grounds are totally here for a great game if you are going to follow it up! Visual effects, the player controls, camera direction, music and sounds feel very polished.

Despite the confusion at the beginning, very interesting and challenging game! Loving the visuals and music! Also I spent a lot of time in the main menu hovering the buttons - really juicy sound :)

Very well made. Controls are smooth and progression is balanced well. I can recommend it
