This was great! The bosses were fun and different with interesting mechanics (the coffee healing was great when I realised what was happening!). I wish the dodge was a bit stronger as felt I couldn't do anything to avoid some attacks. Really cool game though!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! I'm seeing that lots of players were killed by the manager and his karens. It is impossible to outrun the karens when they are angry, which is one of the attacks that feel unavoidable.

I really liked the boss transitions before fighting a boss!

Developer

Thanks! I was thinking about how I could make the boss battle more dramatic.

Dude that was really cool. I love that I can use the mouse to aim for precision, the dash worked very well but I wish it was a little faster, and The Manager boss fight was funny. Great game! Could you review our game too? Not many people have seen it.

Thanks for your feedback! I played your game as well; it was pretty nice!

Simple yet good! Did not expect burning children on boss 2. Kinda dark if you think about it :)
Rest of the game seems just as random and funny. Well done!
boss 3 was kinda confusing because at the start I coun't tell if glowing block meant danger or something else

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! LOL for the "burning children"! I also should have made the glowing blocks more obvious to stay on them now that you mention it.

sick game, had a good time playing this! Nice touch on showing which key is being pushed for the keybindings display. Nice work!

Developer

Thanks! I felt that showing the keybindings might help the player understand the controls better. This is even more important during a game jam where people do not want to spend that much effort figuring out the controls.

Haha, this game is awesome! The whole "healing bosses with coffee" mechanic had me cracking up. And I gotta say, you guys really took BOSS rush a bit too literally! 😆

Developer(+1)

Thanks, we had a pretty literal approach with the bosses for this game.

Pretty cool game, has some lit music, sfx needs a bit more love, bosses are well designed and polished. Overall its pretty dope! Goodjob!

Developer

Thanks! Now that after you said that the sfx needs a bit more love, I should probably lower the initial volume for the music to make the sfx more audible.

Submitted

Wow, this game feels really well polished!

Developer

Thank you!

Pretty fun and simple game, but I wish you would get more time answering the questions on that one boss.

Developer

Since I have developer bias, I should have reduced the time needed for answer questions for that boss, especially after the first question. Thanks for the comment!

Awesome game and concept! Thank you for adding the baby hint of "I love my coffee dont destroy it" since my idiot brain didnt get the hint at "coffee keeps me alive" lol

Would be nice to have a short immunity period after using Frenzy- I took massive damage from the manager bc my frenzy ran out and i was still touching him

Developer

Thanks for the feedback!
