Notice - I did not have long to play it due to the jam ending very shortly.
Off the bat, I really liked the UI look because it made me think of the games I would play back in school. I don't mean that in a way that your UI isn't "modern," it just has the art style of late 2000s to early 2010s web games. The music and 3D models all being custom is sick and I liked the spinning speed as your health mechanic. Having to race to the thing that spins you back up to speed was very satisfying to pull off without getting hit and I liked how the battles played out. I hope you place well in the Jam :D
I like the game concept! The boss attacks are fair and understandable without feeling like a cakewalk. I like the artstyle you went with and I like picking up the big pile of money on the ground after getting lots of hits in. I couldnt hear any sound though. I don't know if there is any and my browser is blocking it. But going in alone makes audio development harder due to it being such a different task than coding. Good game!
Okay, so I started the game and had fun with the tutorial boss. I like the gameplay and mechanics. The music and SFX were WAY too loud though. But when I got to the first actual boss, I got softlocked... I don't know what happened but then it happened again? If you fix the softlock and the volume, send me a patch/reply to this comment and I will play more! I really liked the little hub world and the shop guy's face actually changes with what hes saying so its really neat and polished :D
I finally got around to playing your game since you played ours! It has good music, the fights are fun, the controls are understandable, and the game gives you a Windows NT 6.2 bluescreen to go with losing lol. Good Game! I also really like doing music stuff as you can tell by the screw boss in Revolvum lol
