Game's Take on the Theme
We interpret the theme of the game using a system of orbits that spin looking for alignments to battle the boss.

Did your team make the majority of the art and music during the jam?

You nailed the theme! At first, I was a bit confused by the controls, but I was able to enjoy it till the end. You did a great job, GG! ❀

Developer

Yeah, we've been getting the feedback about the controls a lot. Great to hear you enjoyed the game! How would you improve the controls? Which button distribution do you think would have been better?
Thanks for playing! 🌻

woah this is the most unique one i've played yet. when i read the tutorial dialogues i thought it was going to feel super weird but somehow it works really well. i'm sure if you had more time you would've added more depth to the gameplay and added more bosses too so i wish i got to see that happen. but it was a short and sweet experience. i love the way everything looks as well. thank you for the game and great job.

Developer

The game was called "Gods of Nullagyratus". We made the design and the prototype for 3 different bosses, but that was super complex to implement in just one month, so we decided to leave the game with just one, but with 3 phases.
Happy to hear you enjoyed the experience! It's our second game as a team and one of our goals was to provide a nice experience.
Thanks for playing! 🌻

Loved it! Really creative. I had a bit of trouble first, because there’s too much going on, but I took the hang of it in a couple of minutes. Imagine if there were, like, three planets or more! It could be a hardcore mode or something.

Developer

Thanks! At the beginning of the development we had a lot of difficulties about the diciding the amount of planets! We used to have 5 at the last phase, but managing 3 or more planets it was SUPER complex. We also had a 3 planets alignment, which required you to align 3 planets at the same time. Even us, the devs, struggled to align planets that way.
We are happy to hear you enjoyed the game.
Thanks for playing! πŸŒ»

very cool game, the gameplay is insane, the sound effects and music are also great
Developer

Great to hear! Star killer monsters are complex to implment. We wish we had more time to polish the gameplay even more. Thanks for the comment and thanks for playing! 🌻

What a nice game guys! i really enjoyed the mechanic of the planetary defense divided in two orbits. There is a satisfactory feeling in predicting the trajectory of the planets, and the gameplay is sharp! Quite interesting to activate your cognitive lucidity. its not an eazy gameplay in the firts moments. Great Work, keep it up! :D

Developer

Woooow, thank you! Super happy to hear that planetary alignments felt satisfactory.
Thanks for playing! 🌻

Love the overall aesthetic and presentation of the game.
It's very original congratulations !

Developer

Thanks! We decided the overall aesthetic close to the end of the jam, so it was quite of a rush to get implemented haha. We are happy you liked it
Thanks for playing! 🌻

Very good use of the theme! I love it!

I don't get how spinning in unison will save our planet, but who cares. It was fun

Developer

Science may never explain it, but mastering the art of spinning planets to attack cosmic monsters is fascinating. Thanks for playing! πŸš€

Quite hard to get the hang of it at first, but you get it pretty quickly. Nice take on the theme, loved the concept.

Developer(+1)

At the very beginning of development we had five planets that unlocked as the player progressed.
We learned that it was super hard! So, we decided to keep it to two planets to ensure players had a good time
Thanks for playing! πŸš€

Not too difficult but still challenging.

The controls are a small learning curve but I managed to beat it. Love this concept, I would have loved to see another planet tacked on that you have to manage! This expanded into a bigger game would be very awesome.

Submitted(+2)

good use of theme, felt the gameplay to be original however a little mundane.

Submitted(+2)

Very interesting and unique take on the theme! Also really cool idea for a boss fight, the idea of playing "as planets" rather than "as a character" is really fun

Submitted(+2)

Planet eating creatures are the best type of creature

Developer

That's something someone in the cult of the God of Nullagyratus would say
Thanks for playing! πŸš€
