Neon Ballet ProtocolGame's Take on the Theme
We interpret the theme of the game using a system of orbits that spin looking for alignments to battle the boss.
Did your team make the majority of the art and music during the jam?
Yes
If not, please link to any asset packs or resources used here.

I loved the idea, plus I'm a space nerd so it's right up my alley :P
The game controls a little hard, though. It's all about predicting positions, and that's pretty hard on a circle. It works wonderfully, just a little hard to grasp :')
A random last bit, the boss' second phase attack is easier (and more fun!) to dodge than the first phase's.
really cool game! wish there were more bosses to explore and discover! enjoyed the mechanic you implemented with lining up the planet orbits to deal damage. could see this begin expanded upon by adding more planets and enemies! great work!
I really enjoyed your game! The use of the theme was clever, and the music and sound effects were excellent. Great work! If you get a chance, I’d appreciate it if you could rate mine as well.
Very cool idea! The design of planet orbiting is perfectly in line with the theme. A bit challenging but I had a lot of fun!
I like the visuals in this game, the mechanics are nice and feels easy to change orbit and change speed independently, the boss graphics are cool as well, I rate graphics, control, fun and music the most, but I like everything really, also, if you have some time, please, rate my game too, thanks!!!!
Such an unique game! At the same time it is a bit challenging, it feels so satisfying when we perfectly align the planets! You guys also nailed the artstyle, very good! Well done
Very interesting game that goes beyond what I usually think of in a boss game! It’s actually pretty challenging to time both of the orbits to be at the designated areas simultaneously, and it makes up for a really good puzzle game! Though, I am terrible at multi-tasking, so when the boss shot projectiles I always just took the hit because I was too hyper-focused on trying to sync the two orbits up. However, when there was the ray attack that basically sliced through the two orbits, it was pretty easy to follow and that was definitely my favorite attack. In any case, really good job on this!
REALLY interesting and unique concept dude, it took skill to match up the planets! But not any kind of normal skill you see in other games.
This is a really cool interpretation of the theme! It was a little awkward to play at first but once I got the hang of it it was pretty relaxing. It was really satisfying when I'd accidentally hit the next two targets right away as they spawned.
This is a really neat idea, and I'd love to see it expanded upon further!
Super game!
Great setting, cool graphics, good sound, interesting and cool attack mechanics and the design of the boss battle itself!
I can’t even single out something bad, everything is at an excellent level, good job!
Interesting idea. I like how the attacks change as the boss life get lower, making it more threathening, and encouraging us to control between orbits at faster pace. The graphics felt like a game from classic arcade. Well done.
Initially, when I got the information about how we would deal the damage to the boss, I thought that it will be messy to control 2 orbits at same time and it probably wont bring much fun.
But I was wrong. Synchronizing the orbits to reach the destination was really fun! Doesn't matter that we have to did it over and over until the boss dies.
Controls wont be messy, but it was something like taming the multitasking, and it was difficult but fun.
My main issue its that there is only one boss and maybe he is too easy, as I beat him on my very first run, while learning the controls.
But really high score and GJ!
Love that Pixelated 3D look! overall game was really fun too!
(If you're willing to I'd love it If you rate and give me some feedback on my game! I'd love to see where I can improve for the future! :D )
Oooo I love the game design! Nice job on art and sound too, really captured me, well done. Congrats on submission. Feel free to try out our game if you like!
