awesome graphics and fun to play
Really awesome game with great ambience! Good job! :>
Voted! Good job =) !
Very beautiful and atmospheric, nice job!
A very nice and relaxing experience.
The difficulty of resource management was nicely paced, the atmosphere was well crafted, and the inclusion of secrets created a tangible desire to explore.
I very much enjoyed this one, thank you.
I absolutely love the art direction for this game, and the attention to detail on the music definitely comes across, and the color palate is really well-put-together. My only pointer would be that the actual interactivity of the game feels lacking - I, as a player, would love to be able to actually be a part of the process of turning fish and plants into fuel, and I'd like to have some kind of destination in mind other than the vague idea of "there might be something way at the bottom". If those kinds of things were added, I would absolutely keep an eye on this project if there was ever a kickstarter or open beta. Keep at it, I loved this submission.
Oh wow, what a compliment, thank you so much!
Your feedback is more than appreciated and I totally understand your points. We will definitely consider it when further working on the game. Thanks!
Very very pretty game! Could use some more tutorial pointers, and I depleted my resources quite quickly oops. Overall cute:)
Nice and relaxing game, the graphics look very good. Using fish as a fuel source is a interesting mechanic.
A very good game! When I loaded in at first I was confused on how to move around since I thought I could move around in 3D (in all three directions) but after 2 or so minutes I realised I could only go in 2 directions, so a more thorough tutorial would be nice, however, the game is very polished, and especially the UI, I loved it. Great game, good job!
Thank your playing our game! Maybe some more hints about the controls would have been useful. Noted :D Thanks for the feedback
Really great submission i must say. I liked the idea of collecting fishes for power and that there are multiple locations that are hidden on the meter so it encourages you to dive deeper. The only issue i have with this game is not performance (it was running completely fine for me) but absence of any menu.
Thank you for playing my game! I am glad to see you here :)
You actually have found a sore spot talking about the menu :D This was one point we had planned for the last day but then git decided to not work anymore so we ran out of time. Will definitely be a thing that we add in future. Thanks for the feedback!
Reached the bottom at 12m i died my first run because i didn't know fish could be used as biofuel. Pretty nice game
I liked the idea of explorer. But when i died it was hard to start over. Good job!
Wow! Very well made and polished game! I am really impressed with the amount of effort you have put into this game to make it look like a real release and not just a jam game! The sound effects and music added so perfectly to this experience - combined with the light emitting from the corals and fish, really worked so well together to create the atmosphere. I found 2/4 of the hidden gems and had a good laugh. I believe if you keep working on this game you can definitely publish it on mobile and other platforms, it really has potential. If you do work on it in the future I would suggest you add some abilities, crafting, more mosters/reasons to be afraid. Great job!
Hey thank you so much for testing the game and all your nice words! Made my day
Very impressive submission given the timeframe. Well done for submitting a 2.5D game.
Visuals are very pleasent. Liked the glowing effect of the fish and exploring the depths like the cave. The music really added to the atmosphere too. The sound design in general was a strength, liked the nice touch of the music becoming slightly muffled when going underwater.
For improvements, I'd work on the performance. Quite laggy even on my decent PC. Maybe add another mechanic or two as well (a map of explored places, some upgrades to the ship, etc.)
Also its generally a bad idea to submit a downloadable game that is 400MB download and 2GB unzipped in a Game Jam ;)
Cool submission. Lots of potential for the future if you so choose to continue working on it. Good job!
Thanks a lot for the detailed feedback. Really appreaciate that.
I am currently working on the performance and hope to be able to upload a new version soon that does not scare people away when they see the file size :D
Needless to say, as a composer myself the soundtrack is just adorable, really well done! Also the idea and gameplay is entertaining, so I really hope this game gets more visibility. I really wish it becomes something bigger one day with the same concept.. I would be there for it.
Thank you very much! What a nice comment <3
Nice to find another fellow composer. Actually, I did not compose the music by myself eventhough I'd really liked to (no time). I hope my composition experience lead me to taking the right decisions about which track to take :D
This was a lot of fun to play. I'll be playing again to try to reach the bottom. Great submission!
Great to hear! Thank you very much :)
really like that art & the audio, I think the concept of the game is cool and I like how I have to go out in the smaller ship to collect things to power the main ship, but I found the game a bit difficult and couldn't get past the cave without failing.
Hey, thank you for playing! I really appreciate your pacing. And thanks for the feedback
I will consider adding mor fish to the deeper regions
even tho the optimization is not that good(I was playing on 20fps💀) but you managed to make this game with these details with only 7 days
good job bro 😁👍
Thank you very much 😁! I hope you still had a little fun even with only 20 fps.
I feel that pain actually. Spent hours optimizing the performance for some more fps. I was successful but obviously there is still a lot of work to do
400mb!!
bro you did a lot of work💀
I did :D
And I hope this is not the reason why nobody is playing my game.
I promise, it's worth the download :P
I already played it don't worry😁
