How does your game fit the theme?
You dive deep into the protagonists mind, digging up things your character wishes to keep stored in his mind. Also you are literally diving deep by fishing!
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Almost everything, all I did that was not made by scratch was the glitch shader that is implemented for some of the sprites.

I actually started to get creeped out at one point, I think it could get even more creepy. Gameplay is fun and nice, plus that was pretty great utilization of the theme. I love sound design, but the music is too repetetive for my taste. Graphic is not exactly great, but considering how well the gameplay and the narrative were I think I can forgive it. Good job

Amazing game! Really liked the story, the gameplay is simple but fun, overall a very good entry!
I would have liked some way to dive the fishing hook down faster because it did take a bit of time towards the end until you were at the layer you wanted to be.

The levels of polish you fit into this game is crazy! It's super fun to play. The progression curve is really well balanced imo and encouraged me to start making the choice of ignoring earlier fish to progress faster. I love how you paced the story and intertwined it with the mechanical progression as well. The art is so charming and suits everything perfectly. The audio and visual changes as the story progressed are so awesome and exciting as a player -- I think that this game does everything it needs to do perfectly as a short and simple game.

I love how this game starts out as a basic highscore fishing game (which on it's own is really fun to play), and then curve balls you with this really emotional narrative.
Also, forgot to mention, the soundtrack works perfectly, since it seems to seamlessly shift tone as it gets slower and lower pitched, instead of just being a happy song slowed down.

Awesome game! Honestly there was so many things I loved about it. I liked that it started out feeling just like a regular endless "high score" type of game without a story line or anything. The notes were fun, I loved the "hidden" messages inside of the hidden messages haha, it all seemed a little ominous but it was intriguing. I also liked how the deeper the line went, the fish that I was originally trying to catch become obstacles I was trying to dodge, that kept it interesting and fun. The audio and the timing of the music with the time of day was great. All around great job. It was a ton of fun.

Pretty solid game: clear gameplay, meaningful progression; not uncomfortably hard, not boringly easy. Also cool and unique artstyle.
