You dive deep into the protagonists mind, digging up things your character wishes to keep stored in his mind. Also you are literally diving deep by fishing!
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Almost everything, all I did that was not made by scratch was the glitch shader that is implemented for some of the sprites.

Wow, ok so I clicked on this originally because I also made a fishing game (be cool if you checked it out *couch shameless self plug cough*), but I was not expecting really a story at all, let alone what I got. It didn't help that certain details of the story struck REALLY close to home, I was almost like, is this some crazy AI that's reading really old files or something, wth lmao. Anyway, very cool game, well done in every aspect!

I really like how you managed to put a story in your game, the gameplay is simple, but fun. Your game page looks great on my desktop but very weird on mobile
Wow I loved this game, i just felt like i need to play the entire game.
What a cute fishing game! The different upgrades kept me casting over and over, just so I could get a little more money. The fishes were very fish like. On a more serious note, the graphics were great, the usage of the theme was superb, and your game page looks amazing! The story definitely kept me hooked to the end.

Wow this game was deeper than I thought it was going to be, the secret messages in deep were really creative, it might be biased because my name is josh also, but ive been through a lot of those things so the game definately struck a chord with me, deep in a double meaning I hope josh was allright in the end! great game!

just played it for a little bit then pop-up showed then i wasn't able to do anything. game breaking bug :/
It turns out when adapting the game to html5 that bug happens... not sure the reason, but the other game launcher does work properly. Thank you for bringing this to my attention
