Game Design is very good
Hey! Thats a cool narrative you got there! Also I love the pixel art style. Congrats for the submission, was interesting.
Thanks for playing!!
Good game!
Thank you for playing :D
WOW great idea I played it through I really liked it.
Thank youuu <3
I liked the mystery rpg take on the theme. The visuals were also amazing.
Thank you so much for playing <3
The story is a bit confusing for me, but maybe i wasn't paying much attention to it, cool short game for a game jam though!
Thank you for playing our game <3
The premise seems intriguing! The camera rocking is a bit nauseating though.
Thank you so much for playing! It's a shame that the camera wasn't good :(
We'll remember this to make the game better in the future!!
Wow, normally I get bored of story based games but this story has kept me in the game. Nothing to say good job!
Can you try and rate my game ?
Thanks for playing! I'll try yours too :D
Good work for a 7 day game!
Thank you <3
This game is totally underrated, I loved the narrative - it reminded me a little bit of the tv series 1899, the multilingual period mystery-science fiction show. Played it all the way to the end. I see you plan on releasing a full version, I'd be excited for that! I have a few recommendations 1) You could provide a tutorial in the beginning for casual gamers who don't automatically think of E to pick-up. 2) You could narrow down the size of the ship hull because sometimes you're just walking amongst many planks of wood, it's quite wide. 3) You could adjust the pop-ups/UI for when a door is locked - when I used the key on Leonard's room it worked automatically without telling me where I was going / if it was the right room. 4) Maybe expand on the narrative and go beyond the jealous husband trope 5) And seeing as you're planning on expanding, a nice UI for the inventory system and the key could be cool, maybe also a counter for the number of dreams/days gone by (but I'm not sure if that removes from the immersion). Loved this! Thanks for making it :)
PS: It also never felt directionless - in that sense the game design & level design was really great. Locked doors for places you can't go, NPCs pointing you in the right direction (not too many of them and not an overwhelming experience). Great!
Thank you so much for reviewing our game, we appreciate all the advices! We'll think a lot about how the final version is going to be and we hope we can get many more comments like yours <3
Really good, I love the art style and atmosphere. And I really enjoyed the mechanic and the story too. Really impressive work for 7 days, I'd love to play a full version
Thank youuu! We're planning on releasing a complete version in the future :D
Cool and addictive game besides simplicity! Good job!
Thank you <3
Great game I love the art style too
Thank you! It's awesome to know that you liked it :)
I played all the way through! Great art, although the space seemed a bit empty. And I'm a little sad I never got my fruit salad. Nice job!
We are so happy that you liked it! Maybe in future versions we will add an ending where you get that delicious fruit salad XD
great music <3
thank youu <3
Nice mechanics and quite interesting.
Thanks for playing! <3
Good job ! I had fun and it's different from other games
Thank you! <3
Great game! <3
Thank youuuu <3
I liked this story driven game. The deck of the ship was a bit too large/empty though… Some additional interactables that are not really required for the story could help to fill this up.
Besides that, fun little game :]
Thank you for playing our game! We appreciate the advice :)
I can see that you had great idea, but too little time. I would love to see a full version of this game! Btw, great pixel art :)
Thank you for playing our game! It's our first game jam so we are still figuring some things out. We plan to continue working on this project in the future. (I'm so happy that you liked the pixel art <3)
