How does your game fit the theme?
we made a game about a little cat driving a submarine. you need to find treasures, and buy upgrades to.. DIVE DEEPER!
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
We've used one asset not made by us to make our life easier for camera shake. Other than that everything is made by us from scratch :)

Great game. Machanics are fun, art style is nice and the music is great. I even managed to complete it by getting all upgrades and reaching the end.
The only feedback I can really think of is adding a tutorial or something, but thats really not necessary.

I like the simple gameplay and art style. The game was quite easy to pick up and play!
Cool game overall :D The wall of text tutorial and the SFX were a bit overwhelming; I would recommend an in-game tutorial as you go. Some more balancing would be beneficial to the gameplay system too, but a neat idea!

It's a great idea, but not really executed to its fullest potential. I like this concept of diving deeper better than most in the jam, it's super fun! but I think it should have a health system or a consequence for losing oxygen. With that system , you could add air pockets and caves underwater to regain oxygen and instead of an upgrade shop you could instead have to find parts underwater to upgrade the submarine, then bringing the big treasure to land to win. Just giving some ideas of mine, you don't have to add them but either way, Great game!
Nice idea, I liked the art. Especially the fact that the sand gets darker as you go deeper. The world is very large, I struggled a bit in finding the diamonds.
It would be nice if there is some way you can remember where you have been and where not, maybe a map that reveals the places you have visited.
As another comment already pointed out, I didn’t really get why you could extend the pipe. Floating over the diamonds seems to be enough. Another point of feedback: the gems sometimes went flying away (when vacuuming them but missing the collect hitbox I guess). Maybe they could slow/fall after some time?
Core gameplay is good and art is cute, a great entry for this jam :] well done!

The starting text was a bit jarring - perhaps consider adding a background to it and increasing the space between the lines? Other than that the game was fun with an enjoyable gameplay loop!

Love the game loop, progression, control feel, the artstyle. Basically everything - except I still didn't figure out what's the vacuum for :D
really great progression, wanted to try and get deeper everytime. maybe something to help look for diamonds.
Fun game, would love to see some auto-generated from time to time (layout or gems location) to fill the blank when re-diving.
I really liked this! The controls were smooth and I liked how the game got harder as I upgraded speed so I had to remember to balance speed and exploring with the amount of air I had. Extra points for the cute cat/submarine sprite!

Cool concept and really fun game, i love how it forces you to remember the layout of the cave so you can speed run it without bumping (especially at high speeds)
Pretty great game! The mechanics are incredibly polished, the non-linear paths are a nice touch, and the upgrades felt very impactful to the progression.
Good game, I played for far too long to get deeper. The soundtrack is a good choice. The pipe extension felt good. I'd like to see points where you could use it and upgrades to make it longer; that would be fun. One simple improvement is to flash the cat when he gets hit. Some particles would do a lot and are pretty easy to add.

This is such a cute game! The only problem I have is that it's hard to see the text at the start because of the backround, but it didn't impact my enjoyment of the game at all! I would definately play a longer version and come back to this game!
