Good idea. I really enjoyed playing your game.

It's a brilliant Physics Game. Thankfully, I don't suck cos I'm a physics god.
But The Idea is Amazing! If you could add a few more elements, like different types of houses, perhaps a magnet house that can attract other houses but only when they are in the air., Or a levitation house that slows the y-fall of a house but not its x-velocity etc.

Overall, Its a game with a LOT of potential. Please do Work on it
:D

Love the art! Gameplay is VERY hard imo and also a bit unforgiving, or i just suck. Anyways, nice job!

Amazing smooth camera movement. Awesome graphics. But it is very difficult but a bit frustrating :D.

Great game.

Uff this is hard! Or i am just bad at this game. xD But the artwork and the execution is very good! The game allready looks super polished. Connect the wire to the top of the cealing (visualy) and make it a mobile game! :D

Developer

Hahaha, thanks for your review,  R3dleg!  We actually intended to add this animation, but didn't make it in time :). We plan to finish the game after the Game Jam, so you can follow us or add the game to your collection to stay updated!

I got hooked by the visual direction of the thumbnail. Interesting idea but here is some feedback:
I could not get a single house in the right spot at the beginning, it should be a bit easier at first so the player get some easy wins to understand and want to play more ( maybe the rope should move less fast at the beginning ).
Also, I was expecting the houses to slide a bit once on the ground, but they just stay exactly where they landed.
And, even after not placing a single house correctly, I go to the next level, which is a bit weird.
I think you got a nice concept but maybe it can be improved :)

It's a very interesting game, but like everyone else said, it's reaally hard, especially because it doesn't detect half-ins and even just missing one block could cause you to miss a bunch of others if they're all stacked, or if you dropped a block into another block's position.

Also, the restart button detects weirdly :0 but I really love the art and the backstory!!

The art is cool but the game is way too challenging. If you misplace a block in between two targets, you can't hit the next one either =/

I didnt get a single house in 3 levels yet continues to be put in harder ones. Interesting game, but I think needs a you missed all the houses on this level, retry not get harder.

Gosh I loved the start screen visuals.

The game is pretty simple yet ridiculously challenging. Perhaps a tad unfair as it is a bit weird that the houses drift in the air but stops as soon as it hits the ground. Feels a bit counterintuitive.

The music is cool and super chill. The sound effects felt fitting.

Visuals overall felt nice, although the start screen sets up a higher bar for the sprites. The ending looked nice though. Didn't get to the good ending as the game is brutally hard for me.

A few things that I feel could make the experience better:

  • Allow the player to advance through the "How to Play" using a button. The automatic timer wasn't enough for me (I read slowly) and I didn't get to the "Press space bar" text, so as the game started I was left wondering how do I even play.
  • For multiple floor houses, if  the player misses the first floor the game pretty much sets you up for failure. It would be nice to have a way to skip having to put  the second floor considering you won't be able to put it anyway, it is very frustrating.

I really, really like the ending where you come back all the way up lighting up the houses. Really nice touch. However, I'm quite sure one of the houses I managed to match the correct space did not light up.

Very interesting idea, perhaps some checkpoints would be helpful too. Congratulations!

We appreciate your feedback, nizbel! After the Game Jam concludes, we'll work on resolving these issues. Stay updated by following us or adding our game to your collection for the completed version!

I really liked the art style you went with. The concept you have is really interesting. I have the problem as your previous comments where placing a house on the wrong spot makes you also miss that spot later on. I personally don't mind it but maybe you could potentially add a restart button later on.
Nice Work!

I think the art is really nice and fits the game well, but i found the game really difficult and sometimes a bit unfair, one of the main gripes as said by others is that missing but landing in a different spot makes you lose twice, I think a fix to this could be that a piece is destroyed if you miss, and then you try again until you hit it, I know this might change the concept of the game, but I don't think I manage to ever get a piece in the right place.

Developer

Thank you for your feedback and for the suggestion on how to fix this issue! We know about it, but didn't have time to fix it :(. But we plan to make this after the Game Jam, so follow us to not miss the update!

Submitted(+1)

I find this game really difficult, cause most of the time you place the block in the right place, but not in the right order and and it doesn't count twice then.

Except that I think the art is gorgeous, the music is nice and the idea is unique for this jam's theme. Nice work! <33

Developer

Thank you for your feedback!

We didn’t have time to work on the gameplay a bit, so there are such unpleasant problems. But we want to release the final version of the game after the Game Jam, so follow us to not miss the update!

Nice work! And incredibly beautiful. Only minus is that i’d sometimes drop pieces in the spot of another house, which made me lose twice for one mistake.

Developer(+1)

Thank you for your review! We are aware of this issue and want to fix it after the Game Jam ends, so you can follow us to not miss the final version of the game!

Submitted(+1)

Very fun!! Love the artstyle and the concept, the game is difficult but very fun! I wish we could place the houses in any order, since often i accidently land it perfectly in a square but it doesn't count hahaha.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for yout review! We agree that the game turned out to be a bit challenging! As for the arrangement of the houses, initially, we wanted to make some parts of the houses unique (like the roof or the doorway), but we didn't have time to create different sprites :D. That's why the order is strict. We plan to fix these issues right after the Game Jam ends, so you can follow us to play the improved version of the game!

Submitted(+1)

Oehh that would be very cool :)
