The game is very fun. I could play for hours. But I found the compatibility with the game jam theme a little loose. It seemed to me that you took a great mechanic and a cool game and simply adapted it to fit the theme by making doors appear to choose from... I imagined the new abilities that appeared from the doors as items that dropped from enemies. There was no need for the doors. I hope you don't misunderstand me. Your game is very good. It's one of the ones I've spent the most time playing so far! Congratulations!
really awesome game, choosing doors with abilities containing upsides and downsides is a really cool idea, and i love these type of games, love it
I really like this game, and played it for way to long (have a highscore of 57062). And that is just because its a really fun game to play. Its really polished, has great graphics, you can even kind of strategize by only opening demon doors when you recently got hit. I thought about something negative to say, but I really cant think of any. just a really solid and great game!
Awesome game, Keep it up♥
Whelp, i suck at these kinds of games. lol i gave it my best but i die so fast. The game is very polished looking and feeling though. Great job!
this one is super addicting! my highscore is 31,468 and it's a very nice touch that you have it displayed on the main menu since i tried a few times to beat it (without success) lol
great work with the game, wish it was more related to the theme but it was still incredibly fun and looks great!
fancy seeing you here! :P
Really fun endless game, didn't get pretty far but it was fun. I would like some strategie in the door picking
I love the random upgrades, I had a few really broken builds.
Managed to make it to level 32, big fan of all the little polishing details.
I saw two enemies with laser beams early on, I was hoping they'd make a re-appearance but I never saw them again.
What a fun game! The game style really fits the theme for the jam. Love the art. Only crit is the screen shake can get a bit wild. Great work!
Really cool game! Love the endless bullet hell idea! Little buggy here and there but overall really cool!
Nice game, fun to play. However, the game froze when I reached level 8.
Glad you enjoyed it, not sure what caused the game to crash, could have been webGL, I'm working on fixes for all the game-breaking glitches right now, a build should be ready tomorrow :)
The gameplay was seamless! This was such a fun game to play. The graphics are just exquisite, too, and it felt really polished. I think that the doors felt a bit off though. It doesn’t feel like they fit the game. Like, why are they doors instead of, say, boxes?
Either way, definitely a recommended game for anyone in the jam!
yeah i had no real idea for the theme but i did want to make a cool game so thats there :)
Well, I think you definitely succeded in that :)
This was a fun game, I have always been a fan of small color pallets. The game was well-made and didn't have many bugs as far as I could see. I do wish that there were more enemy types and the game just ended abruptly, but over all a great game. :)
Very nice game. The doors to get an upgrade is simple yet clever way of implementing the theme. Though it would have been cool to see some door mechanic in the gameplay itself.
An excellent full-fledged game, which is cool for a game jam.
I don’t quite agree with the decision to randomly select bonuses from two doors - if the choice is random, why is it needed at all?
well i agree i think it should be more of a player-driven decision but i the theme was what it was and i had no better idea, thanks for playing!
Art style looks so good! Crisp and polished! Great job!
Awesome game! It does make me curious about what's in the next door, fitting the theme pretty well for me. The art style is clean and I like the menu design in which the camera moves with the mouse.
Super addicting, really fun, really hard.. such a great game. Good job!
Really fun to play! I really enjoyed it and it felt super polished!
Well done!
Thanks <3
GREAT GAME! sadly feels like the theme was forced upon a good game. had fun playing it :)
glad you enjoyed it, could you explain... "forced"?
i meant that the doors dont really fit the best
really fun game! feels really polished and complete. great job!
