How does your game fit the theme?
There's a big door in the map and the objective is to open it.
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Everything (except the retro sound effects) was made by me from scratch in the week period of the game jam.

When will the second part be available?
soon™
Juice graphics and nice soundtracks - good job on it ^_^
Thank you!
Thanks for submitting your game to the stream! If you wanted to look at the vod again in the future here it is timestamped to your game
Had a blast watching and testing games, thanks for testing mine and dropping by with the timestamp!
I like your work with light and the game design is cool. I also enjoyed the game itself! great job!
Thank you! I’m glad you enjoyed it
The art is simply amazing! Everything is intact and looks great! I would like a little more mechanics, but I think if you develop the game after the jam, it can turn out to be very high quality!
Thank you for the words! I’m working on a different project at the moment, but I definitely think about expanding this one eventually.
great game! i had a 72 deaths by the time i completed it and didnt end up getting all the crystals :')
the visuals are absolutely stunning. great work, especially for a second game jam! and as a solo dev too!
Thank you for playing! Yeah there might be spikes in strategic places. There’s some crystals behind secret areas, look for fireflies (or unlit torches) ;)
Good game! Interesting gameplay, kinda hard but fun though. I meet some bug here and there but still having fun time playing it!
Thank you for playing!
Beautiful art and animations. The character felt planted, and the mechanics were responsive. Good work!
Thank you for playing!
This was actually very impressive, the movement is tight and responsive, the pixel art is great, and the level design is challenging but very fair, great job!
There was a bit of a bug with the cameras when I went to and out of a room too fast, the camera stays in the room I'm not currently in, but it's not game breaking by any means and fixes itself if you walk in/out of a room again
Thank you for your comment! Yeah that bug went past my testing sadly, but as you say I hope it isn’t too terrible.
Looks really nice, and feels great to play. One suggestion I have is to have the lights blink at different rates instead of all at the same time. It might make it look even better. Solid game! :D
Thanks for the feedback! Certainly that would be a good improvement!
Very nice platformer, I wish there was some more gameplay since it was fairly short. The music was kinda of repetitive but the graphics were awesome, the gameplay felt nice responsive, and snappy, and you created a sense of mystery with the door.
8.5/9!
Thank you for your feedback! You’re right, I spent way too much time creating the base gameplay and I didn’t have enough time to add the mechanics or levels I originally planned out… Definitely something to take into consideration in the future.
Great graphics and really nice pixel art. The game felt smooth and predictable - I love it :)
Thank you!
The visuals are lovely... Animating in pixel art while making it looks pretty can be tricky and you've nailed it! I had a hard time doing wall jumps, but that might just be me. Well done, especially for a one-person-band!
Thank you for your comment! About the wall jumps, I started with an input model more intuitive, but changed the conditions to make it easier and may have ended up doing the opposite, definitely a something to check in the future!
I had trouble with wall jumps too. It seems to randomly work half of the time. I wasn't able to pass through the shaft on the 3rd screen despite trying for 10 minutes.
The graphics are good, though. Especially the character.
Really fun, weird camera glitch when quickly walking back and forth between levels
Didn’t notice that when playtesting, maybe it slipped through me haha
Our team really liked the graphics and the respawn points feel just right. Wall jumps are hard to perform, controls could be improved. Great submission overall!
Thank you for the feedback!
