Very cool idea, and I really liked the look and sound of it. My main difficulties were the momentum being really hard to fight and I kept clipping into the floor. With a little extra polish though I think this can be a really solid platformer.

How does your game fit the theme?
There are three doors/portals on each level and all have different challenges inside them i.e the next level depends on the door you'll choose
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes I wrote most of the code from scratch and I also used some free to use assets, I have credited those in the description and inside game

Right off the bat, heavy Karlson vibes. graphics are great, music is also great, though to me i feel like it lacks what really makes speed platformer fps fun. the player sticks to walls, had no fun movement skills (wallrun, slide, etc, a small nitpick of mine i'll be honest), movement was wonky for me and the stages were a bit lackluster. regardless, i still love the graphics, great work!
Fun speed platforming game ! I really like the graphics and music. I don't have much feedback other than the controls and collisions could be improved (like everyone here already said). The thing that bothered me the most was that the character kept moving for a while after I release the forward key. But, other than that, it's a great game !
Amazing game, I loved the karlson style take on the theme ! I love it, I'm just bad at it or the levels are a bit hard !
Please rate my game too : https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-11/rate/2535873
Thankyou so much for trying it out and for your feedback. I'm glad you enjoyed it.
The levels are designed by my younger sister so I got mixed feedback for that. I think you choose the hard portals always so you have hard levels. (Quick tip: The light color over the gates shows the difficulty of the level you gonna get next and that's a secret).
Again. I'm happy you gave your valuable time.
I already played your game and dropped feedback. Cheers :)
Nice 3D platformer and cool use of the theme. My only big complaint is that since it's kind of a "speedrunning" game I wanted to hold 'forward' at all times, but when going through some doors that would just get me killed. Otherwise, great work
Fun game, the player controller felt a little floaty, adding jump cuts may help. If the player releases the space bar, you can set the vertical velocity to 0 and fell the player fall. This enables the player to choose when to fall down after jumping and makes the movement feel more responsive.
It was a bit to floaty and the controls were very unresponsive. Otherwise loved it

i had fun with the game. hoped for some faster and more difficult stages.
I won't say it's a "what's behind the door" game, but it's definitely fun.
I lacked the dynamics and the ability to run without stopping.
