I am a big fan of the graphics. It looks really good. One thing that bugged me was the floating items when I looked down, I didn't have time to finish it since I'm trying to play other games as well, but I will definitely give it another go later.

This game has a good atmosphere. The lights shutting out in the third room was unexpected and gave me chills.

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to complete the game. I got stuck on the "It looks like any other rock. They'll never know" riddle. Right now. I think it is difficult to figure out what you're supposed to do next. There's so many things in the environment that you can't interact with that I spent a good chunk of the time wandering the room trying to figure out where to go and what I could click on. I feel like having more clues for the player would help alleviate this issue.

Nice job on this!

There's a text and a video guide on the actual game page, if you wanted to continue

Very nice,  I loved the aesthetic. did get stuck on the potions puzzle, completed it got the key but couldn't lift the portcullis. Nice job on this. P.S. Make sure to add a character spirit that casts a shadow of the player post-jam. you can see the shadow of the bean when walking through the lights in some places

Very nice and polished game. Unfortunately i got stuck on a puzzle but nevertheless enjoyed the game a lot. Great job!

Nice game! Puzzles a little difficult, but interesting to explore around and trying to figure it out. Visuals and lighting are very good, cool game overall, nice job!

So the game looks really good and I like the UI. I was a little confused on what I was supposed to do though. I walked around for a while and checked out the level got a key and opened one door but beyond that, I just took a look around. The game needs some direction. Some leading lines or affordances would help get the player moving along where they are supposed to be going.

Developer

Thank you. We probably could have used a few more initial hints, but it was designed as an escape room so we didn't want to make it too easy. If you want to try again, there are solutions on our game's itch page :)

I played the game, thank you for leaving the solutions on the page. I found the puzzles very counter-intuitive.  I would suggest if you need to grab water, to remove all containers that cannot be used, and it was very strange to have to pour water into a cup instead of lifting it and getting water with it. The concept, the lore and the ideas of the puzzle are good, but the execution makes it, in my opinion, impossible to solve without external help. Still an impressive game for a Game Jam.

Thank you for the feedback! With hindsight there are definitely a few things we would change, but we are still proud with what we made :)

You have a lot to be proud of! And of course there's always stuff to improve, just wanted to give you my feedback so that your next game comes out even better :)

If you are having trouble finding the solution for any of the rooms, I have made a list of solutions on the game's itch page!

This was a neat game! It had good atmosphere, and it startled me a few times. I did think that the puzzle with the colored cauldrons was a little obscure, though.

Developer

Thank you. Yeah, the colored cauldrons seems to be the thing most people get hung up on. I wish I could go back and tweak it, but since I can't, I added a solutions list to our game's page. Thanks for the feedback!

Ah shoot. I would like to player your game, however, I'm 🐧 boy.

I've exported our game's deadline build for Linux and Mac, but we are unable to test them lol... We'd love if you tried, though!

I loved this

Great Graphics specially the atmosphere just walking was slow but i guess that necessary to create the suspense? Great job btw!

Loved the low poly style! I was stuck in the second room but maybe is just me and my lack of sleep

Developer(+1)

The room with the cauldrons?

Submitted

Just after the first door, the one with the table and the big barrel

Developer

did you look inside the fire

Submitted

I did not :) will try again

Loved the stylization. Great atmosphere!

Developer(+1)

Thanks! Liked yours too

Really nice atmosphere, with nice looking graphics! The puzzles and hints are good, and the final part is scary. Only thing I would change is the map layout in the final part. Its a bit hard to navigate.
Nice work!

Developer(+2)

Thanks for the feedback! Having the last area of the game be hard to navigate was actually part of our goal. We wanted a dark labrynthian kind of area.
