I like the style and gameplay. but like others said at the beginning i didn't understand anything but somehow i figured it out and survived one night xD it was fun
This is a crazy art style. Same as the other comments, it's like a mix of neon lights and pacman game. But all the animations are so well designed. With the mechanisms also well polished. I really enjoyed a lot playing. Although it's hard to understand what happens at the beginning, but after learning a while it soon gets wild.
I also meet the issue that other people are mentioning. By continue playing it, the game fps gets down to 10 so probably a performance issue with all these animations - although these are really really great.
The rougelike design is also a lot of fun! The "more enemies" can even be an option haha that's so funny.
Congratulations! This is a really nice tower defence game. It's very unique and well polished. I love all the things!

Some people may not like that, but I like it a lot actually and found this a really strong point of this game - nice job!
I really thought the plants and the upgrades were really cool, the planting mechanics were very intuitive and easy to understand.
Only suggestion is I think the upgrades covering the screen means I think it should go ahead and pause the game until you select and upgrade instead of you keeping on moving in the background and the game still going, this might make it cleaner.
Other than that I think you did a great job on this game, it's really fun and it's a tower defense, something that may be hard to use in the same sentence for me since I might actually be a bit biased against these specific types of games, so you might have done really well on this one!
FLOWER POWER!
I think this might be the coolest tower defense I've played so far for this jam?
1. Innovative take on tower defense, scroll through plants, dig, plant and water and sprout
2. the simple graphics lend well, everything pops on screen so you know where enemies and plants are and where to refill your resources
3. the plants are all fun and unique and have fantastic animations. The cactus spins, the dandelion shoots a barrage of petals(?, what those white things are, seeds? i dunno)
4. enemies are all colorful and full of expression
5. game is polished in presentation
6. the slowdown was huge, at some point i had too many dandelions and they slowed the game to a crawl i couldnt continue, maybe reduce their particle amount? Anyway its just my assumption it's the cause of the slowdown, could have been something else

Fantastic game! The artstyle is really good, and the music is nice, too. The game seems to make a really loud sound whenever a night ends, though, and the game gets laggy after a few days, but those could be problems with my browser. Great job!
The game has great art, music, and a unique blend of farming and defense mechanics that players enjoyed. However, it could benefit from a tutorial and better pacing between the prep and action phases. Some players experienced performance issues with frame drops in later levels, but overall, it's a fun and creative concept with potential for further development.
This was so much fun and polished, I got all the way up to a point where my browser couldn't handle the game lol.

really big fan of this game, the artstyle and audio are done so well, especially the animations on the sprites! i liked the variety of plants you can set up too.
i will say it took me a while to figure out what was going on lol, for a fully fledged implementation of this game a tutorial would be nice.
i see the vision with the implementation of the theme but i believe it could've been done a bit better. there was very little prep time between nights, and i think it would've flown a lot better to have the upgrades either pause the game or happen during the prep phase of the night.
overall though, i actually really loved this game! i found it very fun to play with a lot of character and potential for further development of this idea!
(technical issue btw, this game started really lagging after i got to wave 3 due to the sheer amount of things happening. dont know if it was a browser related issue though)

Very cute game, I actually had a similar idea before we settled on our game, the music was nice. The big enemies don't seem to do any damage btw, only the small ones
cool graphics! I wish the game paused once you're offered upgrade or during next-level-banner
Really love the art work and the submission page as well, it seemed like the game extends beyond the game window! It would have been nice to have pause menu and if game would pause by itself when you get option to upgrade something, other than that really enjoyed playing it, good job!

really cool game with excellent visuals, i loved the concept and it was really fun walking around to see the different plants and animations, the frames did drop a lot with a lot of the dandelions but overall really fun game, great job :D

Easily one of the best game I ever played on a game jam!!! I really liked everything. The graphic reminds me a lot of undertale, the idea of planting plants to defend yourself is really cool, and my god the music is soooo great.
Please develop this further and make it more fleshed out, such as adding more plants and quirky effects that they can get. I feel like the more wacky the stuff on the screen will be the more fun I will had. Because to be honest, my enjoyment doesn't come from the strategy to plant it perfectly, but rather just running around enjoying the music and witness various vfx happened on the screen.
I did encounter a technical issue though, on the end of night 2 the frame rate drops to below 10 fps. Maybe I plant too much stuff? Anyway, great job!
Really cool merging of genres, love farming games and love survival, really catchy soundtrack too, had my head boppin !
love the concept and the gameplay! the only problem is that i think there should be a clear instruction in the game itself for the players to get used to what they are doing before night 1 starts...i got stuck not knowing how to feed the bunny when it gets hungry, and it got a bit frustrating...
aside from that overall, it was a nice game with a clear connection to the theme!
