How does your game fit the theme?
The theme of Villagers Versus God reflects the calm before the storm, as the villagers' peaceful building efforts are disrupted by Poseidon's impending attacks.
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?

Damn that's one gorgeous game. Really like the concept and art style. The music is also immersive. Really like the manin menu art.
The calamities can have a arrow pointing the direction they are going to go in. Apart from this I have no other feedback. Really good job with the game. Kudos!!
A nice game with a good style and polished mechanics. I didn't find any critical problems or bugs, there are some buildings that go beyond the ground, but it's not critical. Great job!
Nice work on the high quality cartoon artstyle! The game fits the theme nicely. Also, it's really fun seeing all of my abilities destroy the village!
Excellent game, really liked this a lot, even tried it a few times until I was able to win! Really creative premise and everything looks and sounds fantastic. A very strong submission and a very fun game - nice job on this!
Nice concept! The mechanics work very well, and once you get how the game works, it's fun! The visual style is good, but the child-like cheerfulness doesn't match the gameplay. Could also use some more clarity in-game, that you have to rotate your "units". It wasn't clear which direction the tornado was facing. It would have been nice to use right click or mouse wheel to rotate the objects since the rest of the game is played with the mouse. The ability to skip ahead to the battle would've been nice, too.
A delightful little game, I appreciate the overall effort. Well done! Please take a look at my submission! I hope you will find it enjoyable!
That was a nice little game, even looked and felt like a pretty finished game for the most part. Took me a minute to realize my potential, but they were sorry when I did. Great work!
Cool game and stunning visuals! :) As mentioned before in the comments a tutorial would be cool!
I like the transition of the calm and cozy aspect of the game to it getting more intense.
also the art style looks very fun even though it’s simple it’s very visually pleasing and cohesive.
The sound effects and music are cozy as well. I am impressed how well everything goes together in only a week. great job
nice game with good visual effects and pretty good sound effects and yeh like the other comments say it suffers from not having a tutorial anyways good joob for this great game i sometimes suffered from the arrow not being so clear under the storm so i miss directions :D
make sure to check my game
Pretty good game. Unfortunately it suffers from the stander game jam problem of not having a tutorial and players having no idea what's going on. Literally figured out you can rotate objects with R 20 minutes in.
I don't know if I got some bug but it didn't seem like I was actually playing, it seemed like the game was auto-playing a sequence rather than me playing it, and me clicking didn't do anything. When the counter would go to zero, there would be a brief audio of storm music, but it would cut out right away and then go back to the building phase, which again seemed like it was going on by itself without me doing anything.
Even having enough money, I couldn't build anything. When I selected the cheapest one to place it, I thought I was building it but upon looking closer, I think it wasn't me, I think it was just the game auto playing some sequence and whenever I clicked it most of the time nothing would happen, other times it appeared I placed something, but I think I didn't, actually and it was coincidence.
It's possible I missed something so I may want to try it again if I have time, it's possible I got some one-off bug or something, but not sure.
