Your game is great, it is very simple and the
thing that happens at the endwas absolutely amazing! Great job executing such a simple concept in a fun manner!Maxed tractor is very funny... and I thought at first it would take forever! I actually won on my first try.
Very nice Upgrade game, I am happy to see you guys did a good job with Godot. The arts look awesome, unique concept in this Jam, without the upgrades the factor was so slow at the beginning :D But I really enjoyed the game, good job guys !

Haha this was super fun. Absolutely great for the theme, the flying ants were killer. I actually didn't notice the garage at first for upgrades so I just went to the edge of the yard and started working my way in and so when I finally got to the garage I could afford to instantly max everything! XD that was an upgrade. Great job!

This is awesome. It's a great interpretation of the theme, the calm lawnmowing is a lot of fun kinda like the fun I find in powerwash simulator, and once the storm comes it's very hectic. I liked upgrading my mower and zooming around once it was fully maxed out. I thought the ants seemed kinda impossible to really defend against very well, so many came from all angles that I couldn't kill a very meaningful amount of them. I ended up beating the game, but I was completely ignoring the ants and just mowing as fast as I could. Great job on this I really enjoyed it!
Thank you for reviewing with such depth! You found one of the solutions to the ants haha, if you keep your lawn tidy you can sacrifice the house a bit to finish it up. It was tough to balance this with the little time remaining seeing as the ants are already quite difficult for some players.

Ants were attacking and I was just like "WUTUTUTU" Well designed game with the theme correctly implemented! I enjoyed it! Even if the ants were not there, I could mow the lawn until dawn :) Well done!

When the app loaded, it said missing .pck file, or something, so I couldn't play it. Based on the screenshots though, the game looks pretty fun. At least, I've never seen anything like it.
Interesting, did that still happen if you refresh the page? I don't know what issues itch.io can have but the game is still able to load in web for me
Refreshing the page worked! The game was really nice, relaxing, and ants. I guess I didn't fully read the description, because during the peaceful mowing, boom, ants. The graphics are really good though, and I had good fun :)

I'd love to know if someone's beaten this game. It seems just possible if you're a very diligent lawnmower. Very fun idea and well done. I was having audio issues on my end but I don't think I heard any sfx, but there seemed to be a decent relaxing track. Couldn't tell if it changed during the ants.
Oh no! There should be SFX for the mower engine and for the pickups that you discover in the grass. Did you try using the volume slider?
The game is very beatable, though it is a challenge :) if you get stuck, I have a couple of strategy hints on the itch page.

The sound issues are on my end, the bluetooth connection between my laptop and headphones is weird. I heard the pickup sfx and I think I could hear a motor drone but it was garbled. Nothing to do with the game, just a consequence of playing at work XD.
Great work! This is a really polished minigame. I will use it to sell mower at the Home Depot. Ant waves are so difficult really

The game is fun, but it would be nice to be able to upgrade the house, for example : the house can defend itself a little. Right now, we end up with a lot of "money" that becomes useless once the vehicle is fully upgraded.
That is an excellent idea, I'm considering adding in a new unlock area that opens up once the ants begin and house upgrades could be really interesting!
I enjoy this relaxing game about mowing the lawn, then the ant comes. The game is fun I love mowing the lawn. The game pretty simple to play but not easy for me to win XD
It does have a bit of difficulty haha, I am glad to hear that you enjoyed it though.

Yeah! I wanted to add some more upgrades (maybe some black market upgrades to become ludicrously fast) but time ran short for these additions. Thank you for playing :)
