This was sooo fun to play! Keep up the good work :D
Hard game, but lots of fun! On even just my very first try I think I almost had it, I maxed all upgrades and I think I lost the game by only 10 small grass patches. Might have been a difference of about 1 or 2 seconds or so between winning and losing.
Really fun game, I might even consider to play it again, very nice job on this!
It was exciting when I started getting the upgrades and then the nuclear ants came out (foreshadowed as well in the main menu!) I basically abandoned the house and was focused on the lawn mowing more XD
The first few minutes were relaxing :3 I restarted the game again because it reminded me of Etch-a-Sketch. I tried making art, but I am not good at driving the lawn mower and ended with a floppy fish :P

First thing my buddy did when he played this game was make a less wholesome drawing...
One of the best games i have played this game jam! Its very satisfying to play. I love the audio and visuals of the game and its a great feeling upgrading your lawn mower to progress faster. Great job!
this is one funny game that kept me surprised all the time, at first i’m on my simple lawnmower, mowing grass and enjoying the artwork and next i discover that the garage opens and you can upgrade your lawnmower and then my house was attacked by nuclear ants and they ate it?!?! Awesome!
A fun expirience the waves lacked a sound effect to signalise that it begins the game kind of lacked any upgrades that could be done during the waves but with the way the mowing was design I guess you don't have to much breathing room. Another thing would be to imrove the driving model maybe as it felt very riggid even at higher speeds, but I never made a full driving model so I can't exactly tell you what to do about it.
But overall it's a great entry and I had fun with it kudos.
Thank you for the feedback! I would have liked to add some extra audio queues, later game upgrades and some more effects to the ant waves in general but pretty much all of that was done in the last 24h and I ran out of time (future update perhaps).
For the rigid driving experience I am not sure what you mean by this, is it the turning? I do not want players to have control over their speed which is why there is no key to accelerate/decelerate but perhaps adding a system for drifting on turns could be fun.

Fun game! I enjoyed this project, but it did feel a little too slow at the beginning though.
Did you perhaps start the game and immediately started turning? One of the bugs is at the start, your speed is zero and you won't accelerate while turning, so your speed will be SUPER SLOW until you build up some speed by driving straight. Other than that I want you to have a good motivation to upgrade :)

A very polished game with an original and interesting twist. The tension was at its peak!
So polished and satisfying, the whole concept of mowing the grass alone was satisfying enough to keep playing.

Very nice Upgrade game, I am happy to see you guys did a good job with Godot. The arts look awesome, unique concept in this Jam, without the upgrades the factor was so slow at the beginning :D But I really enjoyed the game, good job guys !

Haha this was super fun. Absolutely great for the theme, the flying ants were killer. I actually didn't notice the garage at first for upgrades so I just went to the edge of the yard and started working my way in and so when I finally got to the garage I could afford to instantly max everything! XD that was an upgrade. Great job!
