Really Cool and Energetic Game...

Really cool game!! I think you totally nailed the aesthetics. I got all the way to wave 12 but then for some reason my shots couldn't one-shot enemies anymore (do enemies gain HP every wave or did swift striker reduce my damage?). Would be awesome if there was more enemy variety and if shopping was clearer (shooting to activate it is kinda obscure and makes it so if you shoot there during fights your screen gets obscured) , but the game is already very impressive as is!!

This game is a vibe! Love the retro CRT look, and the sky is dope, especially on Switch. Gameplay is simple but super fun—reloading/shooting feels great. Roguelike upgrades are on point, and no bugs!

Calm parts are a bit too chill, and the shop gets in the way sometimes, but no biggie. Overall, it's super polished for a game jam. Great job!

This is great, the graphics and overall style of the game is awesome and the gameplay is fun. I also really like the cutscene at the start!

Really nice intro scene and I loved the shader you put on the whole thing. It really elevated the graphics to another level in my opinion.

The game was really good and would be even better with different enemy types maybe. It could also do with a little less cost for that first upgrade because I felt like upgrading went very slow.

Overall a really good experience!

First of all, great CRT shader. It really helps bring the charming art style together. I also love how bouncy and full of character the sky is, makes the switch look cool. Lastly, I'm a big fan of rogue likes and their upgrades and this game definitely delivers.

sounds and visuals are insane. the upgrades are simple yet super noticeable (which I love). this game has serious potential, congrats!

Like everyone said, visuals are really great and there are some nice little details, like being able to see the characters face behind the shopping stand. Gameplay is simple but straightforward, well done for a game jam. Great job creating the world/lore/atmosphere!

A slight point is the store could be in the middle and with a different button to interact with because I accidentally opened it in the middle of the run. But nothing too critical.

The graphics and gameplay are awesome! I'm really bad at it, but I think that's my fault mainly for playing on a laptop with a trackpad......
