Así da gusto malgastar la jornada laboral, joder

GREAT gamefeel! I can really feel every hit. When you pick up heavy objects it also feel more impactfull and you move slower... These are the most important things in a game like this. The game lags out a bit and I couldn't completed because of that but I'm sure its because the web build. Really nice work, I really like it

I see that the bouncing mechanich was intentional, but I dont really get what was it purpose and it, I thinnk it does more damage to the game than anything. Other than that, grat artstyle, I got all the warriors! I'll check the post-mortem later

Really cool, thanks for sharing!

Really nice game feel in general! The art and sound design are very good also. The thing i didn't really liked is the controll scheme. Having movement options left and right in the keyboard (WASD and arrows) but having only a jump button in the upper arrow felt weird to me, as i move with the arrows. Then I realised I may be stupid, because the game only suggest WASD as a movement option and I could jump with spacebar. And this way I could have the mouse in my hand. Nevertheless, if I use wasd, the Z key gets uncomfortable to press. I think this could be fixed adding another button to interact. It also felt a little frustrating when I fall down a long way  because I recycle the same pieces to go up, and when I fall down is empty again. I am playing it the wrong way right? Let me know if that was the case haha, its late in the night i'll give it another try tomorrow. Really professional game you got here!

I don't know why... but I HAD to turn off all the lights of Paris! Really cozy game, one of my favorites of this jam for sure. What a great atmosphere you made with this. The visuals are straight to the point and elegant. The sound was also on point. I don't know if I would add different jump longitudes depending on the previous movement maybe... Maybe having a fixed jump was part of the fun. Congrat on this one, wish it had more ratings, very underrated!

The artstyle was some thing else for real. As other people said, the gameplay needs further work, but nevertheless a really cute game for a jam. Plus, you got a better english title for Dungeon Meshi than the official one!

I liked the idea of managing a skill tree in real time to adjust to the different combat situations. The game will improve a lot if had more impacting visual feedback when consuming a skill. Nice work!

Interesting concept. It would greatly improve if there was more info on the battle inputs. I encountered a bug where if I press spacebar in combate everyone takes a step ahead and the combat can't be continued. I think this has potential!

Really good art! I liked also the 3-phase concept and sound design. I could eat that sushi ngl. Very charming game, great work!

Ufff referensia

Cute game! Really liked the visuals and atmosphere. I don't know if it is a bug but the trayectory only appears when in the surface of water. The water going up is an interesting solution for reducing the frustration of loosing progress, but still keeps it competitive with the leaderboard. I really liked the ending with all the frogs!

That's good to know, we'll do it for sure, thanks!

Really glad you liked it, thanks for playing it!

Hi! If you mean the theme,  the expression 'calm before the storm's doesn't always refer to a rain-thunder storm. It means a shaken, chaotic or bad situation after a peaceful one. Thanks for trying our game!

Ooh I see. I will try it again then 💪

Really charming. Great visuals, game feel and sound effects. Looks super polished and profesional! I think It would improve with double jump or higher jump in general. There were times when I fall from the crystal and took half of the calm phase to get back because I couldn't reach the ground. Great game!

The atmosphere is nice and the controls are tight. The game would benefit of having coyote jump and longer jumps I think. And more generous checkpoints maybe. Congrats!

Really nice visuals! I suck at the fishing minigame haha

NOOOOO!!!! It was a debug utility and we forgot to remove it 😭😭😭 i had no idea we left it there...

The intro sequence was RAD. The impact frame just when pressing space bar, i love it. Gameplaywise, I think the game will improve a lot if the shield bounced back when thrown at enemys. If a monkey comes from behind, is very punishing to throw it there because the lady will run off by herself. Nice game, great potential here!

I love the vibes of this game, very original and charming

This may be my favorite game from the jam yet. The concept and gameplay is very simple but engaging, I was hooked up. The art and the UI works perfectly with the game. Just a couple things to point out: I think there is a bug with the storm checking, I stayed in the storm without refugee and didn't lose. Also, it would be nice to know exactly how many turns I have until starve I think. Great work!

Edit: creo que he escrito todo esto en inglés habiéndome dejado tú un comentario en español en mi juego jsjsjsj

Its a shame the web version has problems. The tornado did in fact not appear and i couldn't figure out how to pick up passengers. But the controls of the taxi were nice!

Top notch visuals, nice game!

Interesting concept and nice art. The game would be lots of better if added more audio and visual feedback when impacting an enemy. But it's still fun!

What a nice twist! Good art, good concept, good execution. Maybe I would have make the player walk a little bit faster in the first phase, it would have made chores like puting the table a little more pleasing. But that's just me being picky, great game!

The first part feels so nice to play. A bit unclear what to do, but never the less feels good! I really like the art style and the mix between 3D enviroment, camera perspective change and 2D assets. Nice work!

I was so surprised when it turned to a bullet hell lol. I like the pixel art and sound. Maybe I would have added a visual clue to the dash to know exactly when are you invulnerable. Nice work!

It has really nice art and atmosphere. It would have helped to have more controls displays on screen, as you have to use sometimes the mouse and sometimes the keyboard. Nice doggo!

tbh I didn't really understood the story or how the choice of words affects what's happening, but you really nailed the atmosphere. I really liked the art and the sound was so pleasing. Good game feel!

edit: nevermind, I just read the explanation in the game's page, good to have that!
