How does your game fit the theme?
You are a fire lookout, due to the rising temps the pace and amount of fires in the forest start to rapidly increase.
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
All assets (Art, code and horrible programmer music) are made from scratch, some of the SFX provided with the software template (from Tronimal)

loved this idea.
Really cool idea with a fantastic style, also quite relevant with alll the fires going on in the world right now
I found it a little confusing at first, both with the ackward control scheme, and the kinda ambiguous instructions.
All in all, great game!
keep making games
Very cool. Took a minute to figure out what buttons were what but after that it was very fun. Reminded me of old school choplifter games. Great work! Congrats and good luck!
Nice game. It looks good.
But I have to read nickbdawg comment to know that Select button was Shift, that not written in game nor the itch page (there is Start but not Select). Once I got it, that was simple to understand.
Like the introduction scene, and general visual. It lack some 'negative' feedback when using button
Overall that was fun.
lemme update the manual. thanks. ought i added i
This is great. But I feel like there isn`t enough time to stop the fires.
that's the intention. the fires speed up over time.
This is great! The gameplay is fun, the cutscenes are a cool inclusion and I love the details like the no swimming sign popping up. The art is also amazing. Nice work!
Once I figured the controls it was really fun to play. And the music fits really well :) Nostalgia overload!
Really nice art and seems very polish, unfortunately I couldn't figure out how to play with the controls described in the page, sorry :(
Ah they are at the bottom of the page, bit difficult to find on mobile, but the input is after the introduction video. I also hid some like the SELECT key in the introduction movie.
This is a really cool game! I love the art style especially in the cutscenes. It took me a bit to figure out how to play, idk if it tells you anywhere that the shift key is the select button to call in the chopper. Once I figured it out tho I had a good time playing this. Great job!
Thanks, the controls for PC were separate in the manual below the game.
Ah weird, I swear I didn't see the pics that showed what the select button is yesterday when I played, but I see them now so it's all good!
Edit: Actually I just looked again, I don't see anywhere where it says shift is the select button. Maybe I'm just missing it tho.
interesting art. More in-game button prompt would bee nice, difficult to figure out what to do and when.
Sadly limited in sprites and overlays, but all the controls I tried to cram into a tutorial and videos in the start.
"I'm glad I tried this game."
Amazing art style! I love the GB aesthetic. I only wish I had the right display for it. Audio is a little rough but the game is fun and I had a good time!
The art style was great and gameplay was cool!
The artstyle is really creative and compliments the mechanics/gameplay very well. The gameplay itself is quite intuitive - I could pick it up and understand all the mechanics immediately, and enjoyed it a lot. Great submission and good luck :)
Big big fan of the NES vibe, art, controls, and everything!
I Love the art style sooo much!
