Very cool concept. Honestly a lot of things that I would have said have already been said (for example the fast ground movement etc.) but keep working on this game and it will be great!

Very interesting Idea. Needs a lot of improvement though. Movement on ground is very fast and laggy and sometimes you push the enemies into a corner and don't get them out there. Anyway good job for a game that was made in a week!

really fun idea and the knockback of the gun makes it really interesting
the only issue is the camera movement a little imprecise but with some tweaks would improve the experience

The game concept is awesome, it just needs a little tweaking. I don't really like how WASD movement feels - it's like on a bit of delay. Also, IMO, the shooting sound should be much more snappy. Right now it feels like you're spraying Mr Muscle or something :D
But I definitely enjoyed the game. As I said, a bit more polish and this game could be great :)

This is a really fun mechanic you've got going on here! The mouse sensitivity was a bit too high for me, making it hard to aim. Still, I really love your knockback gun and kudos for working in 3D!

The game idea is pretty cool shooting yourself to propel yourself across the map. The ui doesn't scale to other resolutions; it would clip off the side of my screen. The movement whilst on ground is too fast and I find myself falling off the small ledges too easily. I still think this is a pretty neat entry.

Really cool idea. Reminds me of rocket jumping from older games. Had a lot of fun playing around with the physics and trying to master movement. As others have mentioned, I do think that the movement speed needs an adjustment; either lowering the acceleration or the max speed, but it wasn’t a big enough problem to keep me from enjoying the game. Great job on this!

I like the mechanic of the game, I could see an expanded version with lots of interesting scenarios. My suggestion would be to make the character less slippery and accelerate more slowly (or have a less max speed). Polishing the movement of the character could make this great!

Heya bro. This was a pretty RAAAADDD game. I loved it's shooting the ground to traverse system. Makes you feel the need to understand the angles and stuff to traverse quickly. I did notice a weird glitch in which the movement by WASD was suddenly slowed to a crawl in a later section. And it never recovered.
But other than that, and enemies YEETING you to infinity in one hit with their loong range, it's a phenomenal game that could be much more, even on a just cause level, if done right.

Unfortunately, the last 3 hrs of the jam was really hectic and I wasn't able to test the final version. I'm pretty sure the movement bug at the end happened because I forgot to tag those platforms as 'ground' thus the midair movement speed is applied to the player instead of the groundSpeed.
I'll likely work on a post-jam version in the future, and then I'll try reworking the movement.
The controls are a bit vague and inaccurate, when i try to fly it's hard even to get closer to enemies, i don't know why it seems a bit laggy tho. i love the graphics, and i'm sure it will get a LOT better if only you fix the controls, i like the idea.

nice work! I think the controls are the only things to blame(I feel dizzy after play a while), the idea is really cool. Fix that problem and add more things, it could be a good game.
