Cool game but it lacked something to worry about. As others pointed out a timer would be great or traps that you should not hit. Something like that would spicy up the game more from being a time spender to a fun game that you want to get a highscore on.

Nice graphics, fun game play. Only thing I would add is an end condition! It's kind of cool to get into the "zone" whacking the moles.
Hey guys s4shrish here
I wanna say that since Monday today my work week has started, and I won't be able to rate as many games. So if any of wanna still play and rate my game, thanks a lot. But know that it's not necessary that I will be able to rate back in R4R manner.
Just putting it out there.
All those who have played and rated my game, thank you for playing and the amazing feedback. And to all those whose game I have played, I love your stuff. A lot of it is brilliant, I simply love em, and keep on working hard.
Nice animations and Gameplay. but sadly it has no end? you could add a timer that grows on some special moles or something and then compete for high score.
Also, Animation makes it hard to consecutively hit the moles. what you could do was, on a perfect timed hit, the animation is skipped letting player hit the next one right away. this way it would still be playable on high speeds.
Nicely done though. fun jam game!
Graphics and game machine idea is awesome. I enjoyed playing it. Speeding up the game is a good idea, there are problems with hit detection and animation timing but not game breaking. Well done!
I know the animation timing is a bit slow, but there's no delay in hit detection.
It uses an almost exactly matching capsule shape collider for the hammer, and a 100% matching capsule collider for the moles. The cursor always lies parallel to the board's surface and that cursor is used for determining the hit location with a calibrated offset. Any particular behaviour that triggered it? I'll check the offset frame by frame maybe.
Thanks for the feedback.
If you used "Time.timeScale" to speed up the game, colliders won't be able to keep up with the objects mesh speed after a value. You need to use different methods to fix it instead of scaling time if it was the issue. That could be the cause of misses. Or if you are waiting for the animation to finish to allow player to hit again, that is definitely the problem. Hit detection misses only occur when the game gets fast enough, at the beginning everything works correctly. Hope that helps.
Nice game! Could you check mine too ?

hey dude why i can't stop playing your game it's so addective haha !!
btw i rated ur game can u do the same pls ?? and thx !!
The idea of making a game simulating a whack-a-mole machine is very cool, the hammer mechanics are completely smooth and their combination with the animations made the game even better.
The art style is simple but fits perfectly.
The difficulty progression is well balanced, while you keep whacking those moles the game keeps getting harder and harder, which is very cool. To make it even better maybe a sensitivity slider would be a great addition.
The sounds are great, but some of them need a little volume adjustment.
Overall it is a very fun and well executed game! Well done!!
Haha thanks for the detailed feedback.
Yes I feel that the mouse sensitivity slider was a very crucial thing that I forgot to implement. Also, cursor.lockmode -> confined was something I forgot as well.
Yep, the sounds were a last second addition, and the intro sound was left looping and hence plays after every few intervals. I need to get better at sound design.
The difficulty progression is what I like the most. While it is not as complex as that, I really love Valve's Left 4 Dead 2's AI director, who adjusts the difficulty to you, in a more complex way tho. It allows all people to enjoy.
Thanks.
Hehe, I would say there are a bit of similarity. I do love that game. Not sure how much horror I can add to it, but seems like a fun idea.
The mouse translating is a thing that I felt I would have to get correctly for accurate hitting. A standard first person view was out of question for this concept.
Thanks for the feedback.
Fun and nice, but i want more enemies coming out of those holes very fast!!
But this made me enjoy one of those machine games i usually only get to see on TV. ThankYou VeryMuch!!
Yes I was planning to add more enemies, but due to a last minute crash I lost 3 hours of work (I am a dumbo who doesn't save), and had to do an all-nighter just to finish it before the deadline. I even had this idea of some moles playing golf, and you had to hit them before they take their hole-in-one shot. But didn't have the time.
I am planning to add these and more to the game later.
Thanks for the feedback.
Great game. But Audio is sometimes loud or quiet when hamsters are going up faster that is impossible to punch them because the speed of taking hammer back is greater than the speed of hamsters getting down. But in general very fun game.
