It's so a great game! You should do a full release of it. Good job.

Really great game! It was very interesting to invastigate all the apartments, find the clues, restore the events in your head and think about them. Sadly, I couldn't solve it. You definitely should continue it! Good luck :)

This was so fun to play. I’ve played detective games before, but never one with these “clue/event” mechanics. Very intuitive and so fun to play with.

I wish that I didn’t get instant feedback on whether or not my events were in the right order. I would have rather just had no color change at all and then be given a button to click that says “Submit events” when I felt like it was right. That would make it a little more challenging.

I hope that you continue working on this! Other levels with additional mysteries to solve would be amazing. Thanks for sharing.

The game has a great concept and I really enjoyed playing it! I loved the use of the theme  (by solving plot holes).
It took me a while to figure out how I connect the clues and the events. (Maybe change the colors to red and green so it will be more intuitive).

Great job!

SPOILERS

Hey, that was actually a really nice detective game! The clues were logical and it was neat examining the scene then connecting the clues. I would like to warn you however, about an infamous tactic; guess and check. As time pressure set in, I started randomly connecting everything until something worked, and that was waaay faster than actually thinking about it. A similar thing happened with the events, they gave a visual indicator as to whether or not they were right, so you were able to muck around until you got something. There needs to be extra layers to it, with multiple steps of reasoning before the answer is revealed, otherwise it's too easy to guess til it works.

I also think that the sequence of events was a bit... normal. I saw that the clock said 8:17, but emergency wasn't called until 8:47, and my mind was racing with reasons as to why he'd take half an hour to call for help. But unfortunately no, he was just knocked unconscious for a bit before calling. There should be some more strange coincidences, and interesting inferences, like perhaps the thief somehow knew the victim? Like what if the thief was some football coach, with a connection to the victims habits of watching football on tv? Why'd the thief knock over the vase, was he ridiculously clumsy, perhaps tired from his day of coaching, or was he trying to lure the victim? There is so many interesting possibilities, but I feel like we spent too much time on murder weapons, blood stains and where they came from. I'm only just now realising that the detective was a robot, so maybe the case could have some more connection to that (maybe the thief was a robot too?)

I still really enjoyed the game, and I was very impressed by the art. The ui is super slick, and I can tell a lot of effort went into the clue and event menus. Overall a great game!

I like the UI style! The graphic is simple but focusing on the game play and it's very suitable! Very impressing experience!

I think that the countdown is not necessary because when I "die" and try again, I have to do the repetitive work.

Overall, it's a very good game!

Let's be honest! I didn't understand your game So much but it has cool environment and character design :)
4-star innovation and graphic.

Fantastic game! The graphics are really nice and the whole game (excuse the pun) has a really nice feel.

I don't think I have ever played a detective game but I fell in love with this! Awesome work! All that was missing is some detective music in the background, but I LOVE the concept none the less. I haven't got a single clue how you managed to make the UI so pretty and functional so props to that as well :D

Got it done with 8,5 minutes to spare. I'd really love a full investigation game like this. Really liking the aspect of tying the clues together to get some logical order of events. Overall a good proof of concept in my opinion.

I really enjoyed this game. The mystery made me want to keep going till I solved it. One game design problem you should look into is that players can just keep trying to link clues until they get a match. Eventually I got to the point where I was just guessing on matches.  Great job! PS I made a detective game to you should check it out below #shameless plug

Nice concept, and was nice to puzzle out a crime scene. However after getting all the clues and linking everything, there's no instruction what to do next, and after waiting for the timer to count down it said I failed.
Maybe have the mission pass after getting all the clues and linking them and properly sorting the sequence of events.
Also the camera is a little awkward, maybe let players zoom out a bit more.

really nice game, i'm a complete novice in puzzle games like this so  i didn't know what was required of me  in terms of how the arranging the clues or events helped,  but i enjoyed the game altogether, looks like the level was designed with probuilder which would be crazy lol...nice work

A really interesting entry, I suggest adding an event for when the player has arrange the clue in the right order to finish the game right away.

Interesting concept and quite a nice design.  Plays quite well.  I've been struggling to find two clues in order to complete the game, but I'll get there eventually :-)
