Nice aesthetics and graphics. I like your concepts, like the ability switching. I think the jumping is too stiff and too short, and the character is too sensitive to certain objects.
Nice game, the niveau is unbelievable high.
Creating something like this in one week is awesome.
Please rate also my game.
And this is what a solo developper can do in only one week
excellent 9/10
loved that egypt style
consider supporting me by checking my game too ;)
<3
Sure I will try it!
However this was not solo development XD
We were a group of developers and we developed this game in 2 days only
Art, music, design. All really awesome! Got stuck on the credits(not a huge deal tho) and the lack of tutorial made it rough but I figured it out eventually. The two biggest things were the jumping and the walls. When jumping you need a running start to get going rather than being able to jump from a stand still. (That's a personal taste thing tho not a game design thing). The walls were somewhat annoying to get around. I couldn't see myself through the wall and that led to a lot of button mashing to get through the door. Overall though a great game! Keep up the amazing work
Yes we know about the jumping issues, we already fixed it in our new version (that will be uploaded after the voting period), in the new version the player can jump without any momentum, and also the movement is much smoother.
We are also working on the walls problem
Thanks a lot for your feedback :)
Don’t forget to leave a rating :)
I love the amazing Powers, there are so many different ones to explore really well done :D. The only thing that is missing is a Tutorial but I read the comments so I know you fixed that already. Over all really well done.
Yes we already added a tutorial, and fixed the movement and jumping to make the player more responsive.
Thanks a lot for your feedback :)

Sure already did that long ago, i just didn't write a comment :D
the visual theme is quite interesting it catches your attention fast. thats why i played thisxD
Thanks a lot :),
We hope you enjoyed it :)

I did it. I hope you also rate our game *w*
Super cool design and art style!

Art, animation was great! music was nice too. focusing on the game theme ^^ I tried my best to complete but couldn't sadly.
My game log, might help:
Intro:
First I opened credits, got stuck there. (silly bug. no problem)
Then I started game again, and read the story that I already read in description on itch.
Game:
walked around, controls were not relative to camera, spent some time getting used to it. then I jumped past first guard, completely ignoring him. but then there was this green circle. No idea what to do after that. spent some time walking around, clicking everywhere, hitting all the keys on keyboard wondering what I am supposed to do.
then I clicked that wheel on the wall and it opened a menu. I didn't realize that I could click anywhere when I was close to it. Colors were not matching the power circles so inconvenient but at least symbols were.
After dying like 30 times, I cleared first stage not killing anyone. but only dying because the platform.
second stage, same thing again, ignored the mummies and went directly ahead, there was this rotating block that was very inconsistent with rotating. Idk if i was to swipe on it or just click.
but after another 15 tries, i gave up. Sorry I don't know if there is some new mechanic or some ending there, I am curious about it but I just suck at this. Do tell me how many levels are there.
powers:
rotate and create object were simple and understandable.
creating holes was scary because I didn't know If I was immune to them.
moving object, I played with it for a while, trying to make the mummy get stuck behind or something but it didn't work so I ignored and just stealth passed all the mummies.
soul power was confusing with its name and where to click. I was expecting it to change place with mummy but okay.
Conclusion:
Try adding hints on wall or maybe some dialogues to tell controls or guide player.
Polish will improve it drastically but it needs some work on game design side. those powers can be made so much fun if handled correctly. my game is also about 3 powers using 3 guns so I slightly understand your vision.
Sorry about the criticism but I died a lot and felt it could be a better experience. If you wanna test my game, go ahead, there is a webBuild link in game page. Criticism is welcome. ^^ we are here to learn after all.
Wowww, thanks man for the described and detailed game log. We are really sorry for the inconsistent experience you had, we only developed the game in 2 days cause we were busy with our university schedule so we didn't have much time to polish the game. HOWEVER, we have a polished version now with consistent and fun jumping mechanic and we it would be amazing if you can try it again and give us some more opinions.
And we are surely going to try your game and give our feedback, CHEERS!
Sure, I'll see the update ^^
All the best, Cheers!

Nice game, but it's hard to figure out what to do on your first run (I accidentally skipped the cutscene but trying to accelerate it, but it seems I can't).The game seems really promising, can't wait to see what more you can do with it.
Also, the typos for the credits menu are broken it seems, and you can't click on the button to quit it. Apart from that, nice job :)
Thanks <3
We will upload a polished version after the game jam ends so stay tuned!
Quite an interesting game, the base concept is very solid and makes good uses of the theme, and for what I played the puzzle design also seems good.
I find fascinating the idea of implementing the concept as a isometric puzzle platformer, which is a genre which was quite popular in the past but not really explored nowadays.
The art style it's consistent and very readable, I also kind of like how it's not really low poly but has more of a dated vibe to it, reminding me of the CGI cutscenes in some PC games from the 90s, which I think really fits the isometric puzzle platformer which I believe was popular around that time, so it all kinds of fit together in that regard.
2 things I believe could be improved here for me would be onboarding, and character feel.
- the game for me was quite hard to pick up at first, I did not find intuitive I was supposed to walk to the coloured wheel on the wall, and hold the left mouse button to display a wheel around the cursor to select the power to use, once I had figured that out the symbols work pretty wheel to understand which power to use, but because the wheel on the wall would have no reaction when I'd approach it was not clear I had to be next to it and it was not just set dressing, and because the rest of the game is played with keyboard keys, I was clueless I was supposed to hold the mouse button, especially because the game being a platformer I had moved my mouse cursor into a corner, as my assumption from having played platforming games before was I'd not need to use the mouse, and nothing from the game told me otherwise, I also checked the game page and the content of the downloadable zip for a readme file hoping for a control sheet of sorts.
- the controls of the character in my opinion are not perfectly suited for a platformer; due to the camera perspective I could not really tell most of the time if was going to land on a hovering platform or if my alignment was off, and the controls in mid air felt quite unreliable, in a platforming game I'd usually be able to maneuver my character mid air and look below for my shadow to see where I'd land, but in this case the physics of the character felt very stiff and would not really allow me to do so, the landing also feel very punishing, in platforming games especially 3D ones usually the physics of the character is forgiving and would adjust itself to make the player succeed when the player is partially reaching a platform (an extreme case of this would be ledge grabbing mechanics), while in this game the character feels like it would often fall into the void even when it looks like it should be landing on the intended platform, and in one case I saw the character literally slip onto a floating platform and fall in front of them
Thanks man for the detailed feedback we really appreciate it. <3
As for the comments, we already polished the game and will upload the polished version as soon as the game jam ends so make to follow us to get notified when it is published!
Looking forward to the new update! Keep up the good work :P
I really liked the concept! Jumping off platforms is too difficult. I fell down too many times. But the puzzle mechanics are good. I liked the atmosphere too. Nice graphics and audio.
Good game but a little hard if you repeat it all when you die
Yes we know about that, we are working on adding Checkpoints in the new version ;)
Thanks a lot for your feedback :)
I really like the game and it has a lot of potential. Some of the things it would be awesome is too put some checkpoints cuz falling is really easy and is a bit frustrating to spawn all the way back. Is really easy to get lost at first I did not knew what to do I figure out by clicking the pedestal that has the rock that match the pattern. I believe that in the credits when I tried to go back it did not respond. The jump is unresponsive and is hard to jump in to the platforms. However the game has a nice style and looks pretty unique and the SFX sound pretty neat. I hope you keep working on this project, it has potencial!!! :D
The game has a ton of potential and it looks and sounds really well, but it needs polishing. Lack of checkpoints combined with a rather rigid jumping mechanic can quickly discourage from playing.
Yes we know the about the stiff movement, we already fixed it in a new version where the player is now more responsive with better jumping mechanic. Also we are working on adding checkpoints to that revision too :)
This version will be uploaded after the voting period ends.
Finally Thanks a lot for your detailed and honest review :)
We are really happy that you liked it :)
Don't forget to leave a rating :)
A great game! The graphics and the concept are both awesome but it lacks some gameplay features such as checkpoints and the ability to see through the walls when they are in front of the camera so that you know where you are going. Other than that a fantastic entry, good job!
Thanks a lot for your feedback :))
We are already working on checkpoints and Interactive Camera system for the new version which will be uploaded after the voting period. :)
Thanks again for your honest and detailed feedback :)
No problemo, can't wait to see the final game!
Amazing work on making the 3d models and animation! I think this is the first isometrically projected game I saw in the jam so far! I did have difficulty with the jumping as the lack of air strafing required the player to run before jumping which was hard for me on the smaller platforms. Still, this is a really pretty game with a lot of great mechanics!
The graphics are one of the best so far ! But the collision with somo walls is buggy (i fell through the floor) also needing to go back to change the spell didnt fells good but overall great game!
It's very good! The mechanics are interesting and creative and it fits the theme well. The graphics are also fantastic. It's probably just personal taste, but my only real criticism is that it feels like the character takes slightly too long to accelerate and decelerate. On the whole, a great game :)
Thanks a lot for your feedback :)
Yes we know that the character movement and jumping is not very responsive, we didn't have enough time to fix it before the deadline.
but now we have a new version with much smoother movement and more responsive jumping, which will be uploaded after the voting period ends :)
I am really glad that you enjoyed our game :)
Finally, Don't forget to rate it :) we will really appreciate it :)
