In what way does your game fit the theme?
It's a platformer, however movement reverses the direction of all revolving objects and platforms - rewinding them!
If you get stuck here is the record to see how its done! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bdKRP0EHu8E
Did you write most of the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
All code, and assets other than music was created myself from scratch.

A perfect game! I loved the music, graphics, controls, concept, main menu, and you even made a bad-ass settings menu! I am proud of you :D
Thanks I'm proud of you too :)
this is pretty much late comment , but i like it a lot, the fact that you did all the work from scratch amazed me! i can make this game to become my inspiration to my next project, well done dud!
thanks that's really cool to hear :)
The movement is smooth, the way is which you also control the platforms is something I dont see a lot. The aesthetic is visualy pleasing. I am amazed as to how much you were able to do in one week, very well done.
Thanks, that's some really nice feedback : )
Level design on point!
Thanks!
The levels are beautiful and also the movements are smooth.Nice work
Thanks, glad you liked it :)
The fact that your actions control the level is pretty neat
Thanks :)
Really cool game!! tricky but really fun! And the level creator it's a good point!
Good Job!
Thanks, I'm glad you liked it :)
Hmmm, the level design is pretty good, got really tough at level 8, thank god there are checkpoints. I also discovered a trick to cheating (NICE) in that you can press both A and D key at the same time to not move yet rewind time. PRETTY NIFTY once I discovered it. But good job.
Thanks, yeah that wasn't an intentional feature at first but when I found it I tried out with and without and it felt better to leave it in.
It's a pretty well made game, great environment and aesthetics. I love the core mechanic too, pretty innovative.
I just have a problem with difficulty of levels, I ended up brute forcing most levels. I mean even though I knew how I had to get past the obstacles and platforms, it still took some brute forcing because I couldn't always left-right when I reached a rotating platform because I was in air.
It's probably just my experience tho. Great work!
yeah the difficulty does increase quite quickly, thanks for the comments though :))
This was a great game! I actually managed to finish it, though it was quite hard :^)
There were some minor bugs with the rotating platforms but I didn't really mind!!
This was actually my first game jam as well, hope you had fun making this and I hope this game gets more exposure! ^^
thanks, I'll look into the bugs :))
Here a our few critiques! JUST ONE actually! The spinning platforms are a bit buggy, but besides that. It was actually really fun to play! Very well done and a unique use of the theme! 10/10
Thanks that's really nice feedback, could you elaborate on buggy a little bit so i could fix a later version after the jam? : )
Hi! This is a really well made puzzle game that uses the players control over the ball as the challenge by making intractable objects in the game reverse in rotation. You clearly managed your time in this jam really well to ensure that everything the game required was working perfectly instead of overloading the puzzles with features for the sake of features! I did find a few little bugs when landing on spinning platforms, where I was unable to jump despite pressing the button. This usually happened when I would roll onto the platform from an angle. I think the level design in this game is great and the dev should be really proud! I hope you had a lot of fun making this game and have learned a lot in the process! I would really appreciate it if you could take a look at my submission if you get the time, as I could definitely do with some of your insight on what makes a puzzle platformer work :)
Thanks for all the helpful comments, the player is actually not meant to be able to jump off of anything at an angle greater than 60 degrees, just because I didnt want the ball to feel too sticky uno, i do get it might feel like a bug though so thanks for mentioning that, i tried your game i actually really like it, the art is cool and the concept is really fitting of the jam, i dont really have much else to say, good job! : )
good controls and interesting take on rewind.
Thank you :)
The gameplay is fun with simple yet interesting mechanics like the trampoline bounce.
Thanks :)
nice concept, good minimalistic graphics
Thanks, im happy you liked it : )
Fun game to play, I really enjoy to play it. For me it was kind of a puzzle game, to find how to finish the level. I'm really happy that you included changing the screen resolution. However, the music didn't worked for me even when I putted the volume to maximum. Except of that, the game is really good.
Thanks for playing, do you mean that the volume was just too quiet?
yes, but don't wary about it too much :)
I really liked the design, idea and the graphics of your game. One of the best jam games that I’ve played!
Thank you!
Fun
Glad you found it fun!
We have a good platformer here, but not quite fitting the theme so much.
I like the concept, don't get me wrong! Good work! (Includes a level editor too!! wow)
Yeah, I assumed most people would do time travel or something similar so i wanted to try out something different, even if it is a bit loose
Enjoyed playing a lot, level 7 was my favorite part with the side momentum bounce! :)
My positive points:
My negative points:
Thanks for all feedback, i agree the music was not as fitting as i wanted which is quite disapointing, I wanted to have the rewind mechanic to be triggered by movement because if it was a seperate button like E or somehing it would be too easy and if it was both A and D then there would be no point, I did experiment putting other mechanics like a time dilation on the A key but it just didnt feel right.
