Phantom-Man, Phantom-Man! Copies himself, goes to where he began!
Phantom-Man is a game where you have the powers to create different types of phantoms that performs actions in a reverse timeline to aid in battle against the sand-ghosts! Beware of your phantom actions though, they may help or go AGAINST YOU!
-The Phantom creation mechanic fits the Rewind theme, in an unique way :)
Did you write most of the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
Code & art all made by GladGib (except particle effects, they are by Polygonal Stuff). Music assets are by Karl Casey @ White Bat Audio

Fun game when you get going, I felt that it was a bit easy with the health coming back and there wasn't really any incentive to go towards the middle part of the map where it was actually dangerous.
The art is nice and who doesn't like synthwave!
I like the concept of the phantom mechanic, it was a nice idea but I barely noticed it as it was just free damage and then a corrupted phantom that shot away from me (I was always at the egde of the map).
All my focus was put on avoiding the ghost bullets.
If there is something I would change it would be switching the health regain for health pickups, adding some kind of boss enemy that appear every now and then to spice up the gameplay as it feels very samey now.
I got 8815 highscore :D

Definitely something to think about giving incentive for player movement to make the corrupted phantom bullets more prominent. Like your idea for the health pickups, it is 1 way to give incentive for player movement!
A cool idea for the game, pretty hard too! Quickly turned into a bullet hell! (Thats not meant as a criticism as a lot of people love them). My only issue is that I would have liked to have some control over when the phantoms appeared

Haha, this game is actually very fun, but sometimes it does get a bit busy on the screen. Other than that I think the models and the concept was executed very well and nice game! I can imagine people competing to get the best score :)

hey the game is cool and nice
the controls are good. the take is also nice
may be the battle area could be wider. (this one is just fine) and may be 1 more type enemy would be very nice.
because when score increases so much may be like 3000 .
it becomes normal. with one more new enemy it would become very awesome and we can play for so much time.
the power up etc would be a great upgrade for after jam

I agree with the points you said. I've had several ideas in mind to expand on more interesting progression, enemies, etc Just only needed time to implement them.
Imo there is too much going on on the screen and the ghost's bullet blends a little with the stage, so surviving it gets kinda hard... 馃槙
But, If you ignore those problems, the game is very fun, and the concept is kinda cool!! Good Job!! 馃槂

Very cool idea- spawning clones of yourself that can help or hurt you was interesting. Gameplay and music combo reminded me of Robotron 64; And the addition of the high score mechanic made it fun, given the endless survival style gameplay. Well done

A very cool concept! Enjoyed the game a lot. Wasn鈥檛 sure what the best tactics is, ended up just relying on the ghost as a teammate - trying to cooperate with your own past was a very weird and fun experience! Extra plus for adding screenshots into the tutorial - makes learning the game easier. No bugs found, everything smooth and clean. Awesome job!

This gmae is awesome, the timeline system reminded me of ekko from league of legends^^ Even tho it is mirrored. Well, Graphics and design are pretty simple but I had a lot of fun due to the mechanics :D

One of the best game i've rated so far! I love how the corrupted phantom really forces you to strategize instead of just firing blindly, solid artstyle too. Would love to see more enemy types in the future!
