Unique take on the theme, love the graphics :)

Nice implementation of the theme, the name alone is very eye catching and amusing, which gives the game some immediate legs to stand on. I feel like the animations could definitely have used some additional polish, because it all felt a bit janky with the lack of them, especially when combined with the somewhat haphazard placement of a lot of the platforms, giving it a fairly unprofessional look that could be fairly easily fixed with the above 2 changes. The ducks also felt as if they didn't follow the player particularly well, falling down almost every pit and being unable to make even really basic jumps, making them feel a bit useless. Still though, there were some cool aspects, such as the minimap being a great way to mitigate the almost mazelike design of some bits.

Very fun game, good theme implementation.

A few suggestions:

1) A few basic animations (at least for the player) would make it feel a lot more polished

2) I noticed the player's speed felt slower on the second level

3) Maybe add a cool down for shooting, to keep the challenge consistent between players

note that these are just suggestions and other than those few things, this was a very nice game!

Interesting concept! The little ducklings are really cute. Also, the idea of a male duck going on an eagle murder spree with little chicks is just ridicules, but in a good way.

This has some potential! Lacks "juice" but could be a pretty funny fun game! Well done getting it in for the jam!

I really liked the variants in the enemies and the overall atmosphere,  if you updated the graphics and added more enemies i would pay for a full release

Cute little game! The platforming mechanics were a tad wonky though.  There are a few things you could try to make the platforming feel a lot better.

The jump feels a little heavy and player movement is a bit sluggish but i really liked the visuals on the ducks and with a little more experience you could really make something great!

It really was fun to play with! And ducks looked cute! For feedback; a little bit polishing would make this game really shine.

Nice job dude! It was pretty fun killing those eagles with all the duck gang. I would suggest changing the design of the levels so all the litle ducks don't go falling arround all the time.  Keep up the good work!

Very cool and fun concept, the ai for the ducks is a bit scuffed but good for a game jam, overall very cool game! One thing though, please for the love of god turn off filtering on your pixel art sprites! It makes them look clean and not blurry. I'd love if you tried my game as well, it has a lot of similar mechanics I think you might see :D

It was a fun little experience, glad the platforming was easygoing. In terms of tone yeah the art/music is all over the place but I get what you're going for

It's an interesting concept, though it was a bit disjointed overall with the art style and the concept etc.  The idea could go somewhere but it was definitely a bit weird to play and control.  Some finer explanations:

• The jump felt very heavy which made it difficult to platform.  So maybe lowering the gravity or increasing the jump power could help.
• The hitbox for the player was kinda buggy in that the tail, and I think also the beak, could be used to glitch onto platforms.  Which sorta trivialized a lot of it.
• As well as the fact that the players health bar made most encounters trivial because of your near endless amount of health.  So lowering that would be a big recommendation.
• I don't normally comment too much on visuals, but most of this game, as I said, feels very disjointed.  A lot of different art styles, conflicting colors, weird platforms etc.  So tweaking some of it would help a lot.
