In what way does your game fit the theme?
Having to jump off of your past self to progress and having to restart from the very beginning after every death to continuously have to jump off of your past self to progress and sometimes being forced to die in a location so that you can jump off of your past self to reach the platform you are trying to get too.
Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
I downloaded freely available assets which are allowed for commercial/personal use and are referenced if you follow the 'Credits' button from the launcher. I followed some tutorials to get some of the code but not a lot of it.

This is some Groundhog Day + Edge of Tomorrow vibes right here. I really like the concept and idea. Nice Work! Also I gotta say this game is way harsher than mine. Lol xD
Haha XD Glad you like the game :) Your game's great too!
Walking through your own dead bodies, makes your life meaning. :)
It's a great concept. The overall feel is also good. One tiny thing, the HUD snapped to the top of the screen, I suggest to put a little bit lower.
I think lowering it a little bit would be better, noted for the patched version. I'll test it out :) Thanks!
I think the theme was cohesive with the music and graphics. The idea of working with ur past self was cool even if it's with a dead body XD. Good job!
Thanks a bunch! :)
This is cool. Very atmospheric and the core mechanic of using your own dead bodies is innovative and thematically fitting. A few notes:
The cooldowns are infuriating and it doesn't seem like they add anything specific to the game. If you intend to keep them, maybe make them shorter and make them reset on death. It might also make more sense if they filled up instead of running down.
I wish i could punt my dead bodies around and use them as projectiles. I got to a point my first run where i had a half dozen bodies between me and the wizard. Would have been great to be able to do that.
Thanks for the feedback :)
Nice graphics, still some sprites don't really fit. I was surprised about music, because in gamejam most of the people just slam their head onto the keyboard and hope for the best. It was both really fun and annoying. It goes with the theme well. UI elements kinda stood out as a part that doesn't fit the vibe of the game very good. Overall good job!
Great work! Building on your past "mistakes" to move forward is a great message in life! Keep going!
First of all nice concept of building upon your mistakes from the past. However i feel like the execution could have been better. I would have loved some puzzles with your old corpses. Your levels now feel a bit repetitive. I liked the music and the art, you could add some more sfx though! Still great job for one week!
I really didn’t like the cooldown for jumping because i needed to stand still and wait for the cooldown to finish. It would be cool if you added a way for the player to kill himself so that he could easily setup the place were the corpse should be. On the other hand i really liked the art in this game and also the sound, Nice game
Cool idea to team up with the mistakes of your past :) Btw i would love to jump every time i want without the limitation. Well done Lexingto!
Wow! This is superb game bro ... Being simple , it just impressed me a lot... I think you need to work more on gameplay part , designing and sound part was osm , I personally just felt that gameplay part needs to improve ... also fix that cooldown issue, that's the main thing ... Overall , I love this game... Well done bro.
Games really fun and cute, i liked the idea of having your dead bodies help you over spikes, making the game easier and easier the more you die. there is a glitch where you can fall out the world and are forced to quit the game and restart, it would have been nice to have a button that kills you are respawns you there, but other than that, great game!
I enjoyed this game a lot! I especially liked the graphics and music! Good job!
Hey! I liked the mechanics, like the dead body platform, the cooldowns could be shortened a bit, was a lil confuse at the start but eventually got there, overall, nice game :D (Just noticed that there was a disclaimer on the top of the page xD)
The mechanic of using your dead body as a platform is really interesting and unique, but unfortunately the game's just a bit too slow to properly appreciate it. The attack and jump cooldowns could do with shortening, and checkpoints would be helpful, as restarting (and having to go through the 'how many times you died' dialogue each time) really slows the pacing to a crawl. But, as I said, the core mechanic is there and works brilliantly! :D
I am not sure sure about this one bro! I didn't understand how these controls work and just ended up dyeing a gazillion times making a path with my corpses. But funny nonetheless, check out the video review below:
1:56:30 Dog FinderThis one kinda aswm, it was touff at starting but a little while I get a hang of it
The art and idea are solid but drop the jump cooldown and just do a ground check, and in a game where the player is meant to die over and over, don't make them run allll the way back to make their next progress. Would love to see an updated version of this which sounds like it's coming, keep it up :)
This was super cool! I loved the idea, and genuinely had an "AHA"! moment at the beginning of the game figuring out what to do! I think a game like this could really use a bit of polish (making sure that the gaps are all a multiplied number of the player width so that no bodies get stuck sitting on the rest, no spikes above ground, fewer long stretches of puzzle-less land, and maybe get rid of the cooldown timers?). But otherwise, it executes on its intent well, and fits the game jam fantastically. Great Job!
Appreciate the comment man! It does need a bit of tidying up which i plan on doing, im going to release a patched up version of this to get rid of the issues brought up here and polishing it up a bit before i potentially make a full release :)
