Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
Yep. The art assets I bought from Synty Studios.

It was 5 fps but still might be the most fun game in this jam.
Good sound and graphics:)
Gameplay not so good, it's very hard to control the player and it's not very rewarding.
Also, the performance was poor on my machine:(
If the controls were more responsive it would have been one of the best on this jam.
Still, an entry that i will remember, good job!
It would slow down from time to time. Nothing that I could see should be doing that. Interesting and fun concept, however I felt the movement controls didn't work for what you were trying to do.
Do you mean the character in the ring slowed down, or the performance of the game? Currently, the procedurally generated water mesh has waves which update each frame, and the floating ring is physically effected by these waves. This means, if a wave is behind you, it will carry you forwards and when your moving into a wave in front you will slow down. Reworking the water functionality is near the top of my list of things to fix, so it will be simpler in future builds.
I got less than 5fps
I couldn't play it without lag
try optimising it
Ok, that's a shame. Thanks for trying it out anyway. I think the problem is with my overly complicated water creation method. The water mesh is procedurally generated and has waves updating each frame, but I think much of this system is complete overkill. By my count, around 1 in 4 people are having the same performance problems, so one of my top priorities is to make the water generation less heavy going.
Loved the game, it was funny and a bit confusing (fitting the theme). Reminded me of getting over it. Love the poly art style and physics were cool. Great job.
Nice work! I laughed the whole time. and when my player character died and exploded in glorious light I automatically gave this 5 stars lol
really good game well done , I like the design and the sound the idea is good too,I just had a hard time with the controls
The game moved at 1 frame per second on my PC for some reason. I have a good PC. Not sure why it didn't work. I didn't rate because I couldn't play the game.
Ok, no problem. A few others had performance related issues, so when uploads are unlocked I will look into it better.
This game has a pretty good art style, music and sounds. The gameplay can be quite confusing at times, especially with your character constantly spinning, but I think that if I played enough I could get a hang of it. A big problem was the performance, when I went in high speeds frames dropped pretty quickly which made the experience feel a lot less fun. Also, there was no way to know how far I got, and now way to exit the game after I started. This game seems like it could be a lot of fun, but it needs a good amount of polishing before it could get there.
Thanks for playing. I will be adding a mini-map in future builds, so players know how far they've got to go.
Also, I've only been running my game on my pretty beefy main PC. After uploads are unlocked I will look to run it on one of my old laptops and see about making a set of performance mode settings.
So funny!
Alright, I had no idea what I was doing for any of the time I played but I don't care lol. I had a ton of fun just spamming keys and watching my guy fly all over the place! Everything from the music to the graphics and silly physics made it such a fun chaotic experience!
I love the idea but it lagged so much that I couldn't control the player. Bit without that its very chaotic and fun.
Thanks for your input. I've only been running my game on my pretty beefy main PC. After uploads are unlocked I will look to run it on one of my old laptops and see about making a set of performance mode settings.
I love the steering - it makes the game chaotic! Was actually thinking of a control system for a rocket alike yours. Good work.
That was amazing. I found it hard to control, you could describe it as "chaotic to control". It was great fun with a real uniqueness to it, great stuff. I would love to hear your thoughts on my entry.
That's a great game. Extreme game design, very chaotic and fun, audio is great, graphics are nice
But it lagged so much that I couldn't control the player well :(
Btw well done. Nice game :)

Although I've watched the tutorial, still freaking hard lol
Very nice modeling and graphics. That guy is absolutely in a chaotic situation
Very unique gameplay!
Hi all! If anyone is having difficulty with the controls then please check out this quick tutorial:
One of the unique ideas of this jam! Good job!
Had some difficulties with the controls, but overall a nice little game!
Very 'chaotic'! Enjoyed the game :)
It is extremely chaotic, but to the detriment of the controls.
Thanks for playing.
After receiving a lot of feedback relating to the controls, I put a short tutorial video on YouTube to try and help.
/editI hope this helps.
