I think this is the first game I gave a almost completely perfect score for the only reason why it isn't perfect is because my wrists hurted after more than 6 minutes of mashing my keyboard so I would definitely recommend speeding up the amount of time it takes for everything just making it not take so long for stuff to happen or finding another way to put in everything because it hurts after a while of mashing the keyboard and also if you start losing units it start building up a lot and it starts to become harder and harder to recover from other than all that though LOVED the game I think you should continue with this idea and improve off it because it is so good in the current state would absolutely love to see a finished version of this
Hey thanks! Absolutely glad you loved it!
What you mentioned about mashing the keyboard (and it being tiring) was something I had anticipated and tried to fix, but it appears what I've done is still not enough. The game design was flawed from the beginning and I think I needed to revisit a few things. Thanks for your feedback!
man this was really cool, I really loved these, I really felt like an CSI undercover from the tv show hahaha!
Really like the concept, it's a great race against time. Breaching and putting up firewalls is a genuinely really cool mechanic! If you guys decide to expand on this, it might be interesting to have some other progress indicators, like a voice saying 'recon 50% complete' or something like that.

This has gotta be my favorite so far. An incredible take on the theme, and incredibly believable recreation of coding... from movies. Overall though, still made me feel like it for sure. It was definitely also very hard to do, but there was a nice degree of strategy. Except when you start losing.
Cause when you start losing it definitely snowballs to the point it's incredibly difficult, if not impossible to come back from it. So it's definitely not super forgiving, especially with the weird difficulties of the countermeasures. I feel like that could be tweaked slightly?
Mostly to be able to make it clearer which ones are harder and which ones are easier, since there seems to be varying degrees of difficulty when it comes to the countermeasures. Color differences I'd assume would be the best bet? Possibly some sort of stars indicator etc. for difficulty.
Overall though, this is definitely my favorite so far as I said, and the most creative take I've seen on the theme.
You raise several good points that I agree: the game does snowball against you when you start losing units which I think was poor design on my end. It becomes frustrating for the player to try to continue once they lose a few units to the Shred enemy, which was both, relatively poorly introduced in what they do, and their priority.
Glad that you liked it!
This was fun! really felt like a hacker setting up firewalls and stuff though my keyboard took quite the beating, I had a lot of fun doing this!
Man, I really needed someone to sit down next to me and start mashing away on the same keyboard. :)
My fingers are sore after this one! played it with some friends beside me and we had a great time, gets really chaotic near the end! At one point I mashed so hard I closed the tab and that was hilarious.
Maybe I can understand if someone doesn't enjoy the mashing aspect, but the 'direction' which you point the mashing towards (building up the breach, setting up firewalls and combatting the countermeasures) really makes up for it! Outstanding game and a really polished experience :)
The game is a bit too much mashing and grinding regarding its style of gameplay.
I like the concept but too much mashing.
This was amazing! What a cool interpretation of the topic, this was a very fun and chaotic game!!
I loved it!
