Nice game! Cool concept, pretty fun gameplay. I think some sfx and music could enhance the experience even more. Well done!
Thanks! I'll check out your game tomorrow as well since I am not near my pc right now
Very cool game, I like the freedom the game gives you :D for my feedback I would say for platformers you can try making the code remember if you were on a platform .2 seconds ago or something like that so if the player fails and accidently run out of a platform he gets a chance to jump and recover, but that's just a suggestion overall the game is fun :D
That's a good idea, I'll add that in later then!
Thanks for you feedback!
Nice, the green platform takes you to end
Thanks for playing!
cool game tho i did find i glitch on the first green platform which allows you to get to the last checkpoint
I am aware of it, but it isn't really a glitch, though. All platforms have the same range of values that they can change randomly, and I also did the last part very quickly since I was having a headache.
So because of that I just made it in a hurry
oh ok
the game very fun still
Thanks!
Really cool idea!! I could see this being one of those silly streamer frustration games (Get Over It) with some extra polish.
Thanks for the game and the play!
Thanks, though I was thinking of integrating some sort of a melee combat system in an arena made of these effects.
Oooh that'd be cool! I'm imagining something like Ghostrunner, but arena-focused combat where your abilities (movement and combat) are determined by where you land.
Yeah, and I am planning to learn blender for the animations. I hope I can make it in a few months from now!
After a few minutes of failing, I decided to abuse the green platform to beat the game in one go. Definitely an interesting concept for a platformer, great job.
Thanks! And that was an intended shortcut since the game would be a little boring if there was only a linear path
Those orange platforms are tricky! But it was a fun level to play. I thought there would be more music implemented since you used "Symphony" in there, but I think I get what you were going for. Thanks for making it!
Thanks! I will try to learn to make music after this
Nice game, and i think some bgmusic would make it better
Thanks! I will start to learn that as well
Fun game!
Thanks!
I enjoyed your game... Feel like music/sfx could have helped a little, but definitely very fun to play
I enjoyed your game... Feel like music/sfx could have helped a little, but definitely very fun to play
Thanks! I didn't have enough time otherwise I would have definitely added music
Great game nonetheless.
Thanks
Ya your game is too good I like your idea of making chaos so I gave 5 star
Thanks!
I played your game it was fun but you have to work on the ground a little bit and maybe turn it to lava with some VFX and overall I liked the concept and I gave it 5 stars :p
Pls rate back :D
Chaos of destruction
Thanks! I was thinking what to learn next, guess I will start with vfx now
Also, it's a little late for me right now, but I will be sure to rate your game tomorrow!
What was the idea behind this?
The idea meaning how I thought of this or how is it related to the jam theme?
Cool concept! Hella chaotic to play had many laughs. I like the green tile, could jump so high LOL
Thanks! Glad you had fun
Great game!! The audio side of things is a bit plain.. Maybe some upbeat music might do it but all the other aspects are excellent. :D
I like the game
-The gameplay is good the movements are alright some platforms give you higher jump force and other Inverts your controls this is creative but sometimes the jumping gets glitchy and you stay in the air for too long other than that I like the idea
-UI is okay for a platformer game that only requires a simple timer text or score
Looking forward for more projects like this :D
Thanks for your feedback! I believe the staying in the air for too long is the gravity effect from the black platform, so it was designed to be that way
I was just playing randomly and was thinking why i was not able to jump properly somtime.
but after reading your page i just went on green cube and jumped few times and walla its completed.
nice though!
Thanks!
I am not very good at first person aspect game. I tried ton of times barely make to the end.
Fun concept on the platform give different effects!
It's alright, it took me some time to finish the level myself as well
Ohh shoot! They change things by colour, I thought it was kinda random all the time, that makes sense! I got further after I read that! Also I get the bean meme with Unity users but maybe try to at least give it a hat or something like some boots, if it’s just a bean you may ( in my opinion ) wanna not show the shadow of the character, and if your game is mainly platforming / parkour in 3d you might wanna try to add some camera shakes and also sound. And if you wanna make the player go up maybe have some lava or something going up constantly
Thanks for your reply! I am not really experienced in special effects and the particle system so I just made the game with what I knew about the programming(hence the lack of any modelling), but that is a really good idea.
I will check out your game in a few hours as I am not near my pc right now
The capsule's shadow... is something we don't talk about. Though I am planning to learn blender after this
As a side note, were you able to finish the level?
