In what way does your game fit the theme?
We took the "Let there be" as an opportunity to parody the common idiom "Let there be light." Additionally, the frenetic gameplay and wacky creations both reinforce the sense of chaos.
Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
Only a few sound bytes from freesound. Everything else was homemade!

Top quality writing. Aside from the tutorial issue, I don't have anything to complain about. Sound and art were good as well, very consistent.
The idea was soo unique!
I loved the concept and the art!
The implementation was successful seeing ur idea!
5/5
That is one of the most creative games I've seen for this jam! Me loving to code, fulfilling out orders but needing to use a terminal is ingenious! No idea why I had a bit of a hard time understanding the 1st and 2nd letter mechanic and some elements were named differently in the manual, but it is quite fun to play! Never got passed level 1 tho, so either the game is hard AF or I simply suck xD
Awesome game overall!
Hey. Mike!!! I went back and watched the vod of you playing. You were what clued me in that our tutorial needed some work…lol.
Thanks so much for the play, compliments, and the feedback!! I hit your game back already and forgot to post here :) it was *certainly* chaotic. i killed so many of myself trying to break those damned boxes. truly tragic 😭
Super cool game and super creative idea! I think that the overall game design is great, and the use of a console is awesome to see. Its defiantly challenging, but I'm sure that once you learn all of the body part's codes, you should breeze right through. I seemed to have the same problem as a lot of people, were I didn't realize that you had to enter 2 letters for the body parts, but it was all good when I figured it out.
Apart from that, I think that your game was a blast. Its super creative, and rather funny. Though the art is a bit rough around the edges. Nether the less, you have made a great game, so Congrats! :)
Really liked the parody intro, I fell into the same trap others did now I've read below, I didn't realise there were 2 codes for the arms. Think if you sort that out after the jam it'll be a much better tutorial process!
Hey, hookmanuk! I played and rated you yesterday and forgot to post here -- I love your game!!! It was really fun struggling with the right amounts of exponential growth for all the colors to maximize reds. I was also impressed by the high score server implementation -- that's something I've been wanting to try myself. Can I ask what server framework you used? I was looking into node.js, but I didn't know what solutions other developers were using.
Thanks for the game and the play!!
sure, I wrote a little devlog on it at the time! Playfab seems really good, you can have multiple leaderboards and register players details etc.

It's an original idea but I struggled to understand what to enter for the arms and legs. I ended up figuring it out but I think it's sits in between two games. In one you should put the symbols to enter on the order directly and make it fast paced. Or, you could make it way more tricky to understand what to type with no timer but only a few tries. That's my thoughts on your game ^^ I enjoyed the art also ^^ especially the body parts x)
I couldn't get past the first order, I kept getting the "command not recognized" message, even though as best I can tell I was doing everything right? Not too sure. Other than that, I think the concept is hilarious and the art and audio is top-notch. Unfortunately, I just was not able to make it very far after a good amount of time trying to figure it out.
Oh no! You're not the first. My best guess is you ran into the same issue as some streamers that I watched -- TL;DR the codes in the manual are multi-character most of the time. The first page of "Arms" tells you the first key of the arm code. So for the robot left arm, the code is "al bp"
If that wasn't your issue please reply bc you might have seen a bug no one else has! I'd love to know about it in that case :)
Thanks for the play!! I'll play and rate yours soon :D
A very well done and extremely creative idea.
Out of all parts of the game, I definitely like the humour you have put in it. The other parts were also good but just a little tweaking (mainly adding a help of some sort) would definitely make the game a lot better
Overall, the best part was definitely the creative idea and the dialogues!
Hope you like my game as well!
Rated. Well done.
I'd love you to rate mine. Very unique platformer and topdown blending. I'sd love you to look at my game, This is my first jam BTW.
Just gave yours a play! Reminds me of https://www.crazygames.com/game/age-of-war (which I was addicted to for a few weeks as a kid, so that's a huge compliment!) :) thanks for the play and the game!
