In what way does your game fit the theme?
The player is able to absorb the essence of demons to make themselves stronger with chaos magic.
Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
I created all of the assets and code in this game besides the wind sound which I found online to be royalty free here: https://mixkit.co/free-sound-effects/wind/
(I also needed to follow a few tutorials and modified the code accordingly to fit the game, though I coded most of it independently)

I just couldnt find the last enemy on the first wave. Im not sure if it was a bug or just because the map was so huge. I think it would be helpful to have some landmarks or noticable spots on the map so you know if you have checked it, because it made it hard to remember if I had been somewhere before. I think the graphics and the post processing was nice though, just wish I can go further haha
The graphics and the audio are amazing, but the game can feel a little slow at times.

The game looks great, but I think the mana recovery could be faster and the enemy spawn rate a little lower.
The beginning is pretty slow and hard due to the speed of mana recovery. I love the character design and graphics overall, the mood is dark which is cool
The sprites are really cool and the glow effect and atmosphere are very fitting. My main concern is that it does not feel like i'm being hunted, but rather that i am hunting. But with the simple fix of making the enemies move towards you from the start could easily solve this. Also, i might be wrong on this, but i think the camera kinda shakes when you move. If this was made in unity with cinemachine this is caused by the camera damping, it can be a really quick fix if you just play around with the values. If i'm not mistaken, you plan on polishing it more once the voting is done, and i think that is a great idea, you have very cool assets and the issues can be fixed in no time. Good Luck!!

Nice game... I think it would be great if the fire cool down timer is reduced and also sometimes i had a hard time finding the enemies. Cool Game!!
Pretty good game, shooting is very fun, but the mana recharge is very slow, for a wave-like game it feels too calm, and slow.
Game is good, polished and fun to play, even though it does not fit the theme well. I like the art style which you used.

The art and audio in this is extremely well done, not quite good on the theme front due to it not being very chaotic but it is a very good game none the less, the atmosphere is amazing, it is more spooky then chaotic, great game!!

This is so much fun! But making it a fast game will make it good, and enemies are hard to find. This is a good game. The music is so beautiful too. What a cool game.
Cool style and at the start the fire should be faster, and I saw that most of the times I had to search for the enemies, other then that it was a really fun experience

It looks good but feels unfinished (I know thats the point of a gamejam), i've read your replies and it seems like you're aware of the issues so i wont repeat what others have said. If you're worried about the map being too big, you could use an indicator (see codemonkey youtube).

Enjoyed this - it looks beautiful, and moves well. I felt the pace was a little slow - I eventually gave up after I'd spent several minutes running around trying to find the last mob on the level, but it was fun while I was shooting stuff.
