The player is able to absorb the essence of demons to make themselves stronger with chaos magic.
Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
I created all of the assets and code in this game besides the wind sound which I found online to be royalty free here: https://mixkit.co/free-sound-effects/wind/
(I also needed to follow a few tutorials and modified the code accordingly to fit the game, though I coded most of it independently)

nice game. I would wish there was a way of getting mana faster or some powerups but the art and gameplay was great!
hey man, make a game like binding of isac out of these, powers ups, shop, multiple type of enemies and bosses, and you got a great start for a game, cheers
This feels like it would have so much potential if more content was added in. A mana bar feels like you should have different moves that take up different mana points. Enemies aren't too varied and the only playstyle is to kite them while shooting them. Cute graphics, I really like these cartoony type arts and the post-processing used really adds to the spooky vibes of the game. The audio feels like it needs a bit more, but considering you only had 1 week, this was really well made. The camera movement related to the mouse was a good touch to the game. Well done!

The art was really cool! However, I felt like the pacing of the game was a little too slow. I had to kite each enemy just to wait for my mana to go up. At the end, I had 1 enemy left and I couldn't find it. I think with some minor tweaks this game would be really fun.
I didn't understand the game. You walk, throw projectiles and wait to load.

The player character is very cool. Good job!!
I like the overall aesthetic you used. However, the game felt slow and the sound effects could be a bit more polished. Aside from that, great job! :D
fun but There is not much enemy
I like the character design and the projectiles. As other people have said, mana regen is too slow early on and it takes way too long to hunt down enemies. A widened field of view would help, along with longer enemy vision range so they can come to you. Feel free to check out my game as well.
The shooting was a bit weird and i couldn't kill anything for some reason (or i just suck which is probably the case). Still, the visuals were really nice and the sound effects also made it kinda creepy (but made the game nicer in my opinion). Even though I didn't get far, this still seems like a nice game overall. Keep up!
Nice work! For some reason I wasnt able to take aim until i stopped moving. Other than that, the game was nicely done.
The game is really nice but a bit slow. Making the mana regeneration faster or killing enemies returns some amount of mana back would really help.
Really nice art and I like the soft windy ambience instead of music. Love the particle effects when hitting the demons. Wasn't sure what the clink sound effect was at first. I think that's the demons spawning in right? It was beautiful and fun but I do agree that it is a bit "slow." The player is faster and the world is so wide open that you wind up just walking backward while the demons just slowly follow in a line waiting (and waiting and waiting...) for blue stars to fill up so you can shoot again. I think what you came up with has a lot of potential (did you draw everything yourself?? Looks GREAT!) With just a few tweaks - and more chaos ;p) it could be outstanding. Good job!!!
Thank you! I plan to add more enemies and make the map smaller as well as fix a few bugs once the submission period is over. I also plan to lower the minimum mana and the regen time.
