I honestly didn't get it but it has a nice feel to it and amazing style.
It's a zen version of the Sonic special stages with some symbolism that made me confused.
10/10.
If you have another person and a controller available to plugin please check out my game!
Made a video review :)
Absolutely adored the game. visuals are phenomenal, atmosphere is eerie and intriguing. i didnt get any of the symbolism but i still love that kind of stuff. the collage aesthetic is seriously impressive. the game is extremely polished too. amazing job! the only criticism i have is that the whole sphere part felt really out of place
Thanks! We totally see what you mean about the sphere minigame feeling disconnected. Reconciling that mechanic with the narrative was probably the biggest obstacle in the project.
Kudos for attempting something with a non-traditional look - I thought it was visually interesting. The "game" aspects of this felt slightly unpolished though. For example, if you wanted to get a full color bar on one of the objects, there were times I felt I was unfairly assigned a "hit" to a wrong color. I think it would be a nice compliment to your art to introduce some sort of narrative (even if it's non-traditional). As it is, it feels more "random" than "chaos."
We had to cut the tutorial and a revamp of the minigame objective UI because of time unfortunately, but that's definitely a frustration we've heard from other users. That's a good idea, having the objects more explicitly related to chaos!
An interesting idea, but the chaos was poorly introduced.
At start Beautiful graphic, but later... I am disappointed.
The game is very interesting, you can definitely get the overall sense of chaos.
i really like it.
A cool game...Love the artwork and abstract gameplay...Do check out my chaotic scifi fps shooter game
Weirdly Entertaining, and the Art is Amazing, feels like taking a walk in a museum of self discovery. Well Done Sir 🧐👍 Well done!
That's awesome to hear! Self discovery was actually one of the themes we focused on at the very very beginning but we started to have to move away from as we focused on game mechanics : )
Very weird game but worth playing
I played a very large number of games on this jam, which can hardly even be called a prototype, I try to be more specific and it does not always sound polite. You are experimenting with your mechanics, the main hub of the game looks interesting, really stylish. The levels are varied. Of the hundreds I've played, your game is definitely worthy of more attention.
Your game is chaotic and ... weird. Art are very good. A strange experience but a good moment on it.
Strange Game!
but UI is very good!
Looks very interesting and unique. Loved the art style. Well done!
That was more of an experience than a game. I mean that in a good way. Very good job.
There was a random bug where the game froze on my second playthrough, but otherwise wonderfully weird work.
So weird. I love it. Cool going back through a second time and seeing different outcomes.
I Dunno What To Say Family! But please enjoy my experience, well expressed in the below YT Video:
