How does you game fit the theme?
Bradley does not know that he's living in a simulation. And that must remain so.
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
All code was written from scratch. Free third party assets were used as listed on the project page.

Great job executing this interesting concept here. I loved the voice-over choice and the tutorial was well done and allowed me to understand the gameplay intuitively. Would love to see this get further developed
Thank you for the feedback, I'm glad you found the concept interesting (we did, too :D ). I was afraid the tutorial got a bit too long in the end, but it's good to hear to enjoyed it.
We'll see where the future takes us, but personally, I would love to revisit the concept later, to see where we can take this whole genre experiment.
Interesting concept here. It was tough trying to react to what room is next and what needs to be placed in it while deleting old objects. Nice job
Thank you for the feedback, I'm glad you liked the concept. I think with a few more days we could still improve on the challenge levels, but since it was our first jam, I'm satisfied with the outcome.
I love the use of Uberduck.ai for the voices in the game (such as GLaDOS’ voice etc)
and I really like the idea of a tycoon/resource management survival game.
Thank you for your feedback, and also for playing it on your Twitch stream! :)
For the voiceovers, we used 15.ai, an amazing tool I can only recommend to anyone.
We'll see where the future takes us, but personally, I'd like to expand on the genre experiment, give it some more time and love to see where it goes.
Awesome game! Love the balance of ram as well as making sure you have enough furniture as you go from room to room! The Glados voice as well as the voice acting in general was top notch and really well done! Loved the music and it really was just all so cohesive and well done! Great job!
Thank you for your feedback, I'm glad you enjoyed the game! :)
We used 15.ai for the voiceovers, an amazing tool I'd recommend to anyone. The music is an original score, from one of the team members, Andras Hidvegi, I'm sure you'll hear some more of his work in the future. This time, we were going for a silly, funky vibe that's not hard on the ears even on repeat.
Amazing game! complete 10/10.
Glados ftw!
Thank you so much! Please take care of your Companion Cube!
Awesome game! I appreciate the voice acting and the game design. The dialogue with the Glados voice sounded exactly like something she would say!
Thank you for the feedback, good to know that you enjoyed the game, especially the dialogues. Portal is a wonderful game to take inspiration from, I'm glad(os) to hear that we managed to achieve a similar atmosphere with the dialogues.
Funny and clever. The AI voices really added something special, as a thematic extra layer of artificiality ;)
I didn't understand at first that Bradly could walk through the Living Room in transit without evaluating it. Once I realized that, the game got easier.
My run lasted about 10 minutes, and I didn't get bored since the requirements kept getting more difficult.
Great job!
Thank you for your feedback, I'm happy to hear (read) you enjoyed our game. Conveying information to the player in the most effective way is a clear improvement area, unfortunately we did not have enough time to polish this aspect in the end, but learned a lot for our future projects. :)
I dropped enough soccer balls to max out my ram immediately which was such a funny thing. I love silly games like this that are just goofy to mess around in :) Very fun use of the theme as well! Who did the voice acting for this??
Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed the game. Apparently, people are peculiarly drawn to filling the house with footballs. :D
The voiceovers were actually created using a wonderful tool called 15.ai, I'd recommend it to anyone looking to improve their game but lacking the time / energy / proficiency to create it live. The tutorial narrator was voiced by Portal > GLaDOS /Ellen McLain/ (obviously) and Bradly was voiced by Aqua Teen Hunger Force > Carl Brutananadilewski /Dave Willis/.
Pretty funny idea. Was pretty stressful though trying to find all the different items and what rooms they should go in. Doesn’t help that the required objects tend to change right before the dude enters the room.
Thank you for your feedback, I'm glad you liked to concept.
The room requirements actually change after Bradley evaluated the room, but I strongly agree, that guiding the player with the UI and providing some more audiovisual feedback on the interactions could definitely be improved. Sadly, we did not have the time to polish these aspects, but still learned a lot during our first jam. :)
A bit repetitive and basic graphics-wise, but otherwise pretty creative. I think the idea fits the theme pretty well and I don't think I've played anything like this before. The tutorial was a bit long too, I think it could have been shortened quite a bit while still being effective.
Thank you for the feedback, I'm glad you enjoyed the game. There are a lot of areas that could use some more tweaking and polishing. We also had a lot of ideas that we had to cut in order to stay in scope, but who knows, maybe we will come back to it later. Happy to hear you found the concept innovative, that's one of the things we were aiming for. :)
this game had me laughing so much hahah... between the voice acting and the total absurdity of the situation, it was really fun. great work and brilliant idea!!
Thank you, I'm really glad you enjoyed it! :) It's not always easy to hit the right kind of humor, so I'm always happy when we manage to make people laugh.
what if we are in the matrix and this game is a simulation simulation simulation?
Wow, what a silly idea, that's preposterous! ...
Also, expect some well-dressed men in black show up tonight.
What a [REDACTED] game!
Why didn't Bradley appreciate living in a house entirely filled with soccer balls?
I wish I knew what's going on in his bald little head, but ever since I finished writing the last of his voice lines a few hours ago, we barely even talk. They grow up so fast...
Nice idea with some great dialogues. :)
Thank you, I'm especially happy to hear you enjoyed the dialogues, wasn't sure that people will like the same silly bits we did! :)
His dialogues are worth the stress of putting the furniture in xD Love how different the gameplay is! Reminds me of SCP. Also, I find the font to be pretty hard to read, particularly the ones that show numbers. The end screen was delightful. I lasted 8 mins on the second try!
Thank you for the feedback, I'm really happy you enjoyed the narrative bits, we were going for some light-hearted sarcasm. Also, SCP FTW.
We tried our best with the fonts, but art is not our strongest suit (we don't currently have a real artist on the team, so we were basically just messing around with a lot of stuff until we felt like it looked enjoyable). We will definitely working on improving this aspect of our development for our second game jam.
I liked where the art is going, I thought it matched the robotic voice and the simulation part very well! Looking forward to your next games.
Love the idea and the implementation is nice. It's pretty challenging to come up with something that fits the idea, yet is enjoyable to play. The humor is a cool extra touch.
The gameplay itself is alright and the way information is conveyed in-game is pretty great. Nice job!
Thank you for your feedback, this is nice to hear (or read)! Those are the exact things we were going for - original take on the theme and some humor.
Cool concept but I bet its also hard to balance! Really liked the humor. And already the title gave me a smile! Also digged the portal vibe that you tryed to convey with the intro tutor!
I'd improve in graphics and maybe a bit of more varity in gameplay. But other than that, a decent submission!
Thanks for the kind words! We lack a proper artist at the moment so yeah, the graphics could definitely do with some improvements :D For variety we have some ideas for future development, though as it is our first game jam we wanted to keep the scope as small as possible. Glad that the humour got through!
Wow, great game. I might be biased as my own entry has so many similarities even though the interpretation is quite different. :-) I even had something I called"Simulation Capacity" but I cut it out. I see your memory usage made it in the game. Well done.
Similar minds think alike, I guess? :) Thanks for the rating and comment, glad you liked it. Did you make it far enough to fail and see the end scene?
