How does you game fit the theme?
You are a young child, pretending to be a ninja in his house!
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
I wrote ALL code, and I want to pass out. Second team member made all art, third made all music and sound. The ONLY "asset" is the ending credits which has the script of The Bee Movie for whatever reason

the idea is really funny i liked it xd
cool gameplay too
good job man
Loved this game in its entirety - the looks, the sound design, and the gameplay for sure! Everything mentioned made for an adorable game, and reminds me of when I was a little child, running around the house and such. Impressed that this was made in a week!
What a cute game! I love how seriousness juxtaposes the nonchalant attitude of the other family members! I didn't know that there was a dash button, and it wasn't need to beat the game. Adding an element that requires the dash would be nice, such as dashing past a sleeping dog.
Freakin adorable! Reminds me of my days sneaking around the house to get my toys without my parents noticing. Also I'm glad I'm not the only kid to put his stuffed animals in the freezer. he was a penguin, it reminded him of home...
Haha, we took a lot of inspiration from our own childhood, this is why the dad has an office, *based off of my dad*. And I always hid my sisters monkey in the microwave for some reason. And we all loved to play pretend as a kid, and thought we were so much cooler then what we actually looked like running around the house
Loved the easter-egg in the end-credits. Its still rolling! Hahaha!
Adorable game, the graphics and the sound design work together so well. It made for a memorable experience. Plus the end credits threw me for a loop cuz B
Thank you! Our sound designer is great at what he does. And ya we joked about how little we could put in the credits, so we just through in the Bee Movie script to make it longer haha. Kind of funny that it took 16 slices of the bee movie in order to import properly, then I just stitched it together
Adorable game with a cute art style. However, it's a bit hard to play on my machine due to the screen resolution, and I couldn't find a way to change it. I could still finish the game, but it was hard to read text and see my parents coming.
Nice graphics and concept. I think the objectives might be bugged in areas as I was learning how to save the duck from the "cryo chamber" and then it jumped to taking the koala from the piano which I found odd and then after grabbing the toilet paper and returning to the room I had won the game? might of been a one off but if your continuing development of the game perhaps its worth looking into. Really nice game regardless.
The Kenny glitch, I could've sworn we fixed that, damn, right on that then! We have had this very odd occurrence happen multiple times, however it is random so hard to find the source. Currently am coding a possible fix, though can not submit that fix, if you try replaying there is a good chance of it running properly
Lotta fun. In the future it would be cool to have some direction on what your next objective is. I enjoyed it a lot.
Nice game! Cute idea for a stealth game.
I'd give your player a map, since the child would probably know all of the house by hand, while we don't. Also, the "patrols" are a bit easy to avoid. Either add more (like an older sibling, for example, or a grandparent that stays in one place but can fall asleep for a different patrol behavior - similar to cameras in Metal Gear Solid) or make their paths change between each "mission". As of now, it's very easy to clear 2/3 objectives in a row without even coming across one of the patrols.
To be fair, the worst problem of this game is that it finishes too quickly - which is great for a game jam, but makes me want to play more. And that's honestly a great problem to have!
All in all, I enjoyed this submission! Great job!
Hello! Thank you for the review! I do agree that more path variety should be added, that is probably our next step, you're map idea is excellent! definitely going to look into that. We are also going to be adding more levels, so we thought about adding more enemies in those.
You're last comment is definitely a confidence boost! Makes me feel like I made the right choice to make a steam page.
All criticism is deeply talked about with the team, and have been seeing some trends with comments. Thank you JMS!
