Glad you liked it!

I loved the concept, some animatons and polish could boost the game a ton. also I will recommand to look on the internet about scaling pixel art correctly, some of your sprites look a bit blurry. keep it up!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback, once the voting is over I will update the game following these suggestions

That was a lot of fun and I love your spin adding the viewer to see the other world. Other games have just done brute force where you just try and feel around for the answer so i'd love seeing that spin on things!

I also don't know if I beat the game, but I got to the 2 chain saw and box level I think level 5!

Was really challenging, but I also didn't notice you could use mouse until end which is my fault lol, so that may have made it easier!

Overrall had a great time!

Developer

I'm glad you liked it, in total there are about ten levels + the final level / boss battle

the game was okay only control was not bad

Nice take on the theme!

Thanks!

I like the idea and I was fooled quite a bit by some of the puzzles and getting some "aha!" moments. The jump mechanics sometimes bug out - especially in the two layer puzzles with the rotating steel ball and fire-pressure-plate platforms. Another addition could be a "soft" jump to help balance some the puzzles. Essentially if you press the jump button longer the jump is higher and if you press it quickly you only jump a little.  Thanks for the experience.

Feel free to check out our submission as well: OINK

Developer

Thanks for the feedback,

actually the problems with the jump you are pointing out to me in many, and in particular those relating to the fire trap that apparently is a bit 'buggy,

I hope that despite this you have had fun

The gameplay is very fun, but I noticed that some of your sprites are blurred. I'm assuming that you're using unity, so, to take of the blur or these sprites, go to the sprites settings and switch the filter mode from "bilinear" to "point (no filter)", and that should fix it. Good luck in the jam!

Developer(+1)

thanks for the feedback and the solution to the blur problem

Great gameplay!

Sometimes my jumps didnt register very well, but overall it fits the theme well!

Game and level design are both good, I did discover a few bugs, for instance, if you land on the edge of an object, you will move very slowly for a few seconds. The graphics are also very, in the second level they are zoomed in on very far though which makes them look very blurry. Audio was great, no negative feedback there!

Developer

I'm glad you liked it.

I really appreciate the feedback and will try to fix the various bugs that are reported to me.

Great game! I like the use of hiding the other reality. Did feel like holding down space was a bit op but overall great game!

Developer

Thanks for playing!

I agree that the space key is a bit op and in fact when you use it you cannot move, but I added it because in some levels you have to collect objects to continue and it would have been annoying to check the whole scene with the mouse every time

reminded me on the game from brackeys where you had 1:1 the same mechanic

Developer

I'll be honest, when I started I didn't know the game you're talking about, I discovered it only when I had finished the game and there was very little time left for delivery through the gamejam forum since they were discussing that game, only that after everything I had done and with the little time left available I had no way to create a new game from scratch

Submitted

Cool game, good idea and execution.

But maybe you didn't finish it a little or overdid it with Rigidbody, which is why the management suffers a little. Anyway, good job!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the feedback,

I will try to improve the use of rigidbody and try to fix these bugs

really great, the jump kinda stuck sometimes but that's fine, overall good take on the Jam!

Developer

Thanks for playing,

as soon as possible I will fix the reported problems.

Awesome Concept and nice pixel art! I think to really polish the game some animations on the player and maybe a volume button would of been nice. But Awesome Entry! =D

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing and for the feedback.

I didn't have time to add the animations since I started the jam a few days late.

The idea of putting a button to mutate the audio I hadn't thought of that at all but indeed it can be a good addition.

Great idea, really cool execution! The levels were diverse and the sound was nice :)

Developer

Cool use of sprite masks to make the cursor show the fiction and real world. great job!

Developer
