How does you game fit the theme?
You have to shoot bandits scattered around the map to tell if they're Real Bandits or Fake Bandits.

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes, apart from the music. But the songs used are all royalty-free, and the game gives due credit to the artist for it's amazing work.

Loved the wild-west atmosphere. Graphics looks great. Nice job!

Nice game. The visuals and the game mechanic are good. I'm not entirely sure how you can tell which bandit is real, I guess you have to pay attention to props turning into bandits. In a way, I guess it's like a reverse prop hunt, though perhaps having a clearer way to tell them apart would be good. Overall though, it was good :)

Nice game! I like the main mechanic although you really can just go around guessing and get a decent score. Part of my game has a similar idea!

If you have the chance could you rate my game?

great game rated it can you rate my game too

Really funny idea. The game is real fun. =D

Game looks great! The color pops and the textures are solid. Sfx is cool too. I see that this was commented before but I'd love to have some sort of tell for the fake bandits. Otherwise, cool game. I like that sometimes the bandits spawn on each other's heads.

Like others have said, would be nice to tell the difference between real and fake ones. Since there is a bit of verticality in this level, you could add a jumping mechanic or other way to easily traverse areas to quickly move between buildings and add a tempo.

Graphics and audio are amazing, but as far as I can tell there's no way to tell the real bandits from the fake bandits before shooting them, making the game completely luck-based.

Cool idea with the theme. It seemed pretty random though. I think it needs something that makes it more based on some skill or observation. Maybe he tries to fire at you and hide if you aim at him or something.

Really good music and a really fun idea, best I could do was 15

Developer

Wow there are lots of comments! From the bottom of my nerdy heart, thank you everyone that has been playing, and giving feedback to Glass-Eyed Sheriff!
It's my first time making a game for a Game Jam all by myself, and finding the time to develop whilst working was no joke either.
So again, thank you all very much for playing!

Fun and looks good.  It would be cool to see a bigger level maybe enemies shooting back. Having something that would make it possible to figure out the difference between a fake and real enemy while they are shooting at you could be really fun. but overall good game.

Would you like to try our game too? You can compete against all the players and put down your own highscore.

I loved the way everything looks, and with my like, 10 hour experience working with blender, I can appreciate the fact you created all of this in a week. However, I don't think I'm qualified to give any criticism on that since I'm not very experienced lol.

Gameplay-wise, I think there's a couple things you could've improved on. First of all, having some distinguishing feature between real and fake enemies would make for more engaging gameplay, and the player isn't just running around shooting whatever they see. Some possible examples I can think of that are more subtle would be:
    - The props around the map turn into fake enemies rather than just random spawning. This makes it         so that the player can maybe try and think that if its a fake, what it could've possibly have been                 before. But this makes it so that at some point, there will be no more props to turn into fake                         enemies.
    - Only the real one can't be pushed. Maybe add a timer with this solution as well so players feel the           need to go faster and don't just take their time to run around and push everything.

Secondly, it felt really unbearable for me to play (assume its because of diff resolution) since my mouse speed in game was moving at a turtles pace in a fast-paced FPS game. I think I read another comment below on this as well so yeah, unfortunate that you didn't have time to fit a mouse sens. slider in.

Great game and also cute sfx and it looks like a prop hunt game, but anyway great job!

I love the "pew" Sound <3

But its a little bit annoying that i can´t figure it out which bandits are real and which doesn´t.

This looked great and had fun with the prop hunt nature of it. Wish there was a way to "hunt" the bandits though. Was just wildly guessing.
