very nice! I've added the play through of this game to my upcoming youtube video where I share my thoughts.  I know you have the telescopes that help you find stars and other POIs but a mini map would be a really nice addition.

Developer

thanks for the feedback and the video!

A map might be a good idea!

as a pixel artist myself, I'm a sucker for voxel art! This is the most innovative and beautiful game on the jam that I've played so far!

definitely had the potential for a commercial game! I love this game to bits! well done!

This was so sweet and great. It reminded me of "a short hike". I love the visuals so much and the freedom to jump and glide around.

Developer(+1)

That was one of our biggest inspiration!

Cute and relaxing, and I like the mechanic of the telescopes showing you where to go. The camera angle was my biggest beef--since it's in front of you, it shows you where you were, not where you are going, which is a difficulty in a game where you're looking for things.

What a cute game, and a nice atmosphere. I had a relaxing time playing this and the music works well.

There were some missing colliders - I got stuck on the floor at the bears place and fell off the map somewhere else. Also it wasn't clear at the beginning what I was supposed to do.

It was enjoyable nonetheless, good job! :)

The most unique visuals Ive seen so far in a game! Loved the vibes and looking through the looking glasses

Great game! I love the cute art style, and that it was done without an engine (using OpenCL nonetheless). That said, it has quite a few minor flaws:

1) From a design standpoint, it isn't immediately apparent what to do. A large part of my playtime was just wandering around the map, which gets kind of boring after a while.

2) The "A" key doesn't seem to work

3) It's quite easy to fall off the edge

4) The decision to build without a game engine was a bold one, but forms both the strength and weakness of the game. Not being able to change the camera angle makes it really hard to progress in the level and see where the player is going, especially when the very first point they're supposed to visit is right on the far edge of the map.

Technical nitpicks aside, good effort! Work on it a little more and you might even be able to build a Steam game :D

Developer

Thanks for the feedback!

It was don't with GODOT actually! I haven't tried to do that yet.

1) We are planning on adding stuff in the world to make it more interactive.

2) For the A key that's my bad (my keyboard is AZERTY)

3)That's fixed xD

4)We're not sur how to tackle the camera situation yet but we get what you mean It can get a little jarring

Really good looking and atmospheric for a game jam game!

Very Chill, beautiful graphics. Especially 8 directions sprite in a 3D environment looks great. I liked the binoculars. But you need to add some control schema(I could find see one) cause for example you can glide with shift but I would have never thought that you could glide in this game. Good effort. Bravo!

The world of this game is simply amazing. Playing it was a great experience!

Infinite jumps are a pretty fun mechanic - and I've obtained it just at the moment when I thought this game needs a run ability. :)

As others said, this game has some different vibe in it, I liked it!

game is so peaceful! I really enjoyed it!

So calm and cute game. Characters are awesome)). Great job!

The game is really nice and well done, the drawings are very nice and the game itself is relaxing and nice to play, great job!

What a cute loli you have created!

The game was chill, literally chill. Really enjoyed hopping around the world. The world had no boundary so there was a time I slipped into the river and kept falling forever, and another time felt off the map.

But overall, it was really good!

Developer

we probably need to fix the falling problem xD

it was really nice and calming actually, and the art was cute

Extremely cute art and game!

The game is very cute and simplistic. The art style is very unique, and the characters are very fun to interact with and help out. No control information at the start was kind of annoying, but it's not too bad. The game feels kind of empty, though. Only collect 5 stars and maybe help a few NPCs, but nothing else. Perhaps if more content was put in, it would be more interesting. Overall, still fun though!
