Amazing experience, I love the visuals! Well done!
I just rated your game, maybe you can do the same on mine ^_^
Thank you so much for letting us experience this short journey. It really hits hard. We're rooting for you and any projects you might take on in the future.
Oof. Bit of a heavy theme. Sadly one I'm familiar with, so this got me to choke up a bit.
Don't have much more to add, graphics were plenty decent, paintings were nice, buildup was good. Was a bit tough to figure out what had to be done, but thankfully you left some hints.
I loved the graphics. they were super good. Great job. :)
Really interesting game and nice art! I had trouble understanding what to do, I think the game could have used more direction/hints, but I liked it.
I really enjoyed this experience. The art style and narrative is well done to really get you into the mind of this person. Nice little gem!
As others have pointed out, there needs to be more polish on navigation and interactions. Took me a while to figure out some things. Marking exits would be a plus.
Great job!
wow, that was very interesting. very good game :D
there were some interactions that were very interesting, and the story was very striking
I have mixed feelings with this game. On one hand I loved the story, the art the music and sfx.
I almost stopped playing at the dinner scene, at the climax of the story , I didn't understand what to do besides lightning the candles. After while using the matches with pretty much every object in the scene did the trick. Perhaps adding some light cues on the interactable objects would have helped.
I would have added a new mouse pointer (maybe with the shape of an eye) to investigate objects where the narrator has something to say. Also, some arrow in the edge of the screen would have been nice to know in which direction you need to clock you can go. In the last scene, where you need to cross the bridge, I spent a couple of minutes clicking everywhere until I found out you needed to click on each step of the stairs/bridge.
Besides that, I really loved the experience, it got my attention really fast thanks to the art and story, few games from jams have made me feel this way. Excellent job.
I love this. It's a very touching and engaging story. I especially like the hand-drawn work. Kudos to you!

Very nice artwork and an engaging story. Really impressive!
What makes a game beautiful is consistency. The game and the whole world feels incredibly complete. Nothing is missing it doesn't feel unfinished and you are able to portray a whole story. The art style is amazing and it must have been a ton of work to draw all those scenes. Sometimes I felt a bit lost probably because I am stupid but maybe you should mark exits more clearly and it felt a bit disorienting. But hands down of one of the most beautiful and story rich games of the jam.
I enjoyed this game and it made me uncomfortable!!! That's a good thing!
Very nice and relevant idea!
i really enjoy the art of this game just something about that style of art and those colors just makes my eyes happy
A few quick tips in case you get stuck:
-The paintings in the cave: You don't need to put them on the easels. Just leave the cave and walk around and the game will proceed.
-The dinner scene: Try using the matches on everything. You can't take the candles.
-General: Sometimes the narrator attempts to prevent you from doing things. Try again and you may succeed.
Loved the art style, music, and the fragmented storytelling worked in harmony with the point and click nature of the game as you go from screen to screen. I found it remarkably realistic in its writing and portrayals of a toxic, emotionally abusive relationship as well. Only issue I had was getting stuck occasionally and not knowing where/what to click but that's acceptable for a game made in a short period of time. The ending paid off what was setup and made it all come together.
Well, that was scary.
Wow. Just wow. It's really incredible how much emotion you can portray using just text and some simple art. I'm gonna be nitpicky and say that sometimes it was hard to know where to click, since I make a point of always giving constructive criticism, and yet in the final sequence it really enhances the feeling that someone is holding you back, so I can't really say that either. Fantastic work.
