How does you game fit the theme?
You are a lonely swordsman until someone joins and challenges you.
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes. The only assets I used from external websites are the audios and some free photoshop brushes

Damm Your Art is really Good.... Everyone in my team really loved you art... GOOD JOB..
DO CHECK MINE 👇
I didn't get to fight anyone, which is the risky part of making this kind of game. However, the aesthetics are great and I am impressed you had time to make so many moves and even cuttable bamboo!
I actually played this with a buddy of mine :)
Really bold of you to make an online multiplayer game for a jam ! It actually shows in the gameplay, a bit slow.
If you crank it up a bit and allow the player to rotate the camera vertically, you get a pretty cool game idea with a nice shader :)
it wasn’t very obvious, but I’ve put the camera y rotation under mouse scroll wheel :P
Bold choice to create a multiplayer game for a jam! Love the way you interpreted the theme to match with the multiplayer aspect, I unfortunately was unable to fight against a fellow lone swordsman, but I watched the gameplay video on the game page, and am impressed with the work that has gone into this game. Great work!
Unfortunately I was alone so I enjoyed looking around at the objects. The Japanese graphics are really amazing!
Sadly multiplayer games rarely work in the context of game jams, Since most players will try out a game for 1-10 minutes and leave it, which makes it really hard to get a moment where both players are online at the same time, Its really sad that this is how it goes.
but still, the controls and visuals were nice, and I had fun messing around for a while.
Nice looking game!
I like the theme, really like the animations, shader was cool. Only problem, couldn't find an enemy to fight with. Overall, i liked the game.
Making a multiplayer game is always the hardest choice. No one was around to challange me. Anyway, I really liked the artstyle! Is it some kind of "ink shader"? Game camera fills a bit rigid, I wish it has some freedom on Y axis or maybe different angle. Great job overall!
the ink shader is a deviation of cel shader which I learned from guilty gear’s GDC talk. I have put camera y-axis on mouse scroll wheel so it’s not moving all the time
I couldn't find any enemy but boy... I sure showed those bamboo who's the boss!
Love the art style, cool shaders and theme! the kill counter might need a white border so it can be readable when you are near the dark mountains.
Maybe the camera is pointing to much to the ground, I felt like I coudn't really see were I was going.
very nive game art style, and the attack slash might need more speed curve will show more power
Great art. Interesting style choice. sadly couldn't find another player. i would have liked for the camera to have a little more field of view. All in all, great Game!.
Nobody showed up to fight, idk XD
I couldn't figure out the online but it was fun to just mess around in. I liked the visual style a lot and liked how the attacks looked.
thanks. Anyone who play the game after you will join your room. There just isn’t enough concurrent players XD
Ah ok
Good game! love it. It's amazing how you pulled together a multiplayer game in a week! I can't do that in a month let alone a week! the art style is great. but the character is slow to control, but otherwise great game!
Thank you!

Just for the use of gohua all stars out of 5!
Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get the multiplayer working but I have to say it's impressive that you managed to implement it in a week long jam. The graphics look great, I love the art style, and the title screen is epic. Also, I managed to softlock myself :P
I'm echoing the comments already left, I was taken aback on how stylish the game is. The fact that it is multiplayer as well is astonishing. But, it was clunky and I didn't end up having anyone to play with.
