(I am now in a rush to test as many games as possible to help, so please do not mind the cursory reviewing style.)

Semi-on-the-fly remarks:

Did not expect the drag-and-drop gameplay! :)

says I cleaned up, although there is still one thing (greyish/whitish) on the electronic device.

Planets: It is like a series of riddles/tasks! Original, I like it.

like the rendering of the oscillogram

briefly heard some music or a sound just by tweaking the first button! Is it an Easter Egg?

understood what the arrows are for! :) Spoiler: indicate which way to turn to get the solution.

"UFO is real" makes me think of Fox Mulder’s "I want to believe" XD

the equal signs can be hard to get

nice, voice-over! This is really immersive up to now.

the shotgun line disappears automatically and a bit fast. By the way, great humour. XD

Really varied games, I definitely like the concept! :) It is a bit like "Wario Ware", but with a narrative stream and longer gameplay.

got the shotgun suddenly and put it out because I was acting fast!! Fortunately, counts it as winning! Phew :)

Firing phase: I thought the movement was automatic, but the camera is actually guided by the aiming cursor! Maybe indicate it? (textually or by some other way)

I was not sure about the fact that there are some innocents, the indications were not totally explicit; the fact that there are lives were a hint as a confirmation! :) (Playing once again, discard that: there IS a red cross! Although I think it should be a bit more visible, and also, that the indication could stay longer, or even stay there!)

the scanning-firing phase reminds me of a sequence from the anime "Parasyte" with scanning, those that have seen it will know XD

Made it on my first attempt with 2 seconds left! :D The last two aliens were pesky.

Playing once more to see what the game over will be like. Oh, in the first task, definitely ending right when you click on the greyish thing! Third task: apparently, the sound I got was from getting a first equal sign. Found a trick to rotate the buttons more precisely: put the mouse far away! Fourth task: I did not notice you can also remove the rocks; and great: I see the rifle this time, ANOTHER POSITION, so, random? :D Fifth task: you can apparently get the camera far away from the borders, you would need to prevent this. Voluntary game over (shooting three humans): oh, you cannot play again if you lose?? <:o

Takeaway: this is efficient and interesting, even without taking into account your 48 hours limitation! I found the games varied (I disagree with ZAP21’s comment on the game page!), with the last one having the most gameplay. The connection to the theme is classic; graphics are fair (I especially liked the oscillogram), and sound effects are good. Some details may seem a bit rough because you lacked time, but I really enjoyed the variety and originality!

Great work, especially for such a time frame. :)

PS: I think the white outlines for objects might be a bit big at times, and also, although the sounds are good, some more could be used (for example, for skipping dialogue and for picking up an object).

Thanks. It's very helpful comment.

You have found all the easter eggs and revealed all the features.

 I'm just applauding you

There is more merit to making a game than to playing it, so, kudos to you. ;)
When you say all the Easter eggs, do you mean the quote and possibly the oscilloscope’s sound? Just curious. :)

Yes it is

I really liked the mini-games.

Good sound effects and amazing pixel art. Come and check my game as well.

Hilarious and most impressive for an 48 hours game.

That alien hunting scene was really well done (expect maybe the missing pixel perfect camera) and made good use of the Unity masking feature, something that I miss since changing to Godot.

this is a pretty great little game. was a bit tedious to find the aliens in the last bit, but its all nicely made.

Theres an issue with the ground sprites in that level rendering black lines inbetween them, which could be fixed by using the pixel perfect camera package.

but yeah, good job

Thanks

Good game, could you please rate my game https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-8/rate/1680919 ?

I think this is really interesting, and the signal aligning sequence was quite atmospheric. Nice work!

Nice game! I found it funny, besides being a little bit short. Only one pain point: the signal minigame requires too much precise input and it seems frustrating.  Perhaps adding more tolerance to the flow of the game would be better. Nice work!

I like the phase with the signal alignment and when you set the target and discover the identity. Good idea. Good job

This game is great! I really like the art, it added to the game so well!. Also the gameplay and aesthetics was so cool! A overall good game and great submission. If you have the time would you like to rate and leave some feedback on my game? If not then at least help out some of the people in the "need for rating" category. Its totally up to you and keep up the great game dev

Really enjoyable short experience, I feel there were a few areas that lacked but given the timeframe, it's expected (usual game jam things such as non-matching fonts),  I didn't initially realise that the gun was a sprite mask sort of thing, maybe mentioning "my x-ray gun" or something could've helped (Unless you did and I missed it which is very possible), I also agree with previous feedback that the knobs on the signal receiver could've done with less sensitivity, using a mouse for that was quite the challenge, anyways good job submitting and good luck in the jam :)

It's really cool

For a 48-hour game, it's nice.

My only downside is the radio part where you have to make the sign waves overlap

it was so sensitive on my end and took me too long to get it to work (although I appreciate the indicators to tell which side to go and when to stop )

Took a long while to find the aliens so maybe a bigger viewport would have been nice (I killed the last one with 2 seconds on the clock😂)

Good job!

Submitted

Considering the 48hr time frame, you did a really good job - could've done with more polish and fleshing out, but overall some good work!

Submitted

Short but fun! Enjoyed cleaning the lab and tuning the radio

Took awhile to find all aliens… but yeah now I am alone)

Submitted

I like the humor. Tuning the radio was an interesting concept. Great job, especially considering you only took 48h!

Submitted

Very cool game and interesting graphics and gameplay

Nice idea, it was hard to figure out at first, but well done!
